    Awesome glove. The scaphoid protection works as advertised. Tested it first `hand` with a low side at Rockingham. If they would do a 2 in 1 handroid glove for touring, that would be epic.

    I just got a pair of the Handroid MKIII used from a buddy of mine who tried them on once, found them to be too small for him in Large, and just put them away. Yes, the Mark IV is the current version of the Handroid, but I was on a budget. I Since I normally wear medium, but am kind of a Med-Large fit, he passed them on to me. They fit perfectly, and are like new! I have lusted for the Handroid for years, as I have worn two pairs of Knox Orsa and are sold on Knox. When these wear out, I will replace them with a new pair of Handroids. WELL DONE, Knox!

      @@peterhulse3173 Whilst I agree with you, they don't wear well at all, few years in my wore out and developed holes in the palm. I've got other leather gloves that are over 3 times as old (others 5 times) and still are fine. For the price I paid I'm definitely disappointed with the Knox. Wrote to customer service and they blamed me, so all in all, pretty pathetic really.

    Im still love these gloves. The only thing I could wish you to add to these gloves is something to clean the visor from the rain. BTW, thank you for white plastic parts ;)

    The Knox Handroid MKIII gloves arrived today. Superb gloves, great job as usual, Knox. These Handroid gloves are a surprise gift of mine for my girlfriend, and I'll be recording and uploading her unboxing and reaction in a video on our UA-cam channel. I had to unbox them when they arrived just to ogle them (and I've recorded my first impressions); I've then re-packaged the gloves so they're in the same boxing state as they arrived so she gets to unbox them.
    She's going to love these gloves and, best of all, we're going to be riding on my cruiser motorcycles with her wearing her Knox Handroid MKIIIs and recording the experience (I suppose you folks at Knox don't get to hear of a lot of ladies wearing Handroids on cruiser bikes, now do ya'?!). I'm a big fan of your SPS sliders as they've saved my hands in the past and I own lots of armor protectors of yours, so choosing the Handroids over other high-end gloves as a gift for my girlfriend was easy enough. I cannot recommend your SPS sliders enough; they work and will save years of pain to any rider who goes down and puts his/her hands out.
    Again, great job, Knox! Really looking forward to her unboxing reaction and riding impressions when we hop on my cruiser bikes (all we'll be on our UA-cam channel MC Gear Hub).
    Cheers!

    Been reading much on sizing. I usually wear medium gloves. Wondering if I should go a size up?

    • @KnoxArmour
      @KnoxArmour  7 років тому +3

      Hi Tony! The Handroids conform to CE sizing regulations, if you're talking about a medium in a comparative glove then you should be fine.
      However, we would suggest that you don't do sizing relative to another company and just follow our size chart, this will ensure the best fit for you.
      I hope this helps :)

    Interesting...I suffer (like many people) from carpal. Do these gloves actually make gripping , squeezing, accelerating easier on the hands muscles?

    • @KnoxArmour
      @KnoxArmour  6 років тому

      Hi Eric, To be honest, not really.. the extra protective features on the glove are purely for protection and while they dont stop your movement, they dont really aid it. However, we do have good feedback from riders that the wrist gauntlets provide good support for the wrist etc. Hope that helps!

    awesome video mate. how would the handroid mk3 performs in the summer ? do they get warm/hot? sufficient airflow for summer canyon craving/track use? cheers !

    • @KnoxArmour
      @KnoxArmour  7 років тому

      Hi Brad, thanks for the comment! The Handroid are great in the summer and we would class them as a summer glove. They don't feature full perforated leather, because perforations on the leather can make the leather weak and the Handroid MkIII needs the strength to pass the CE test. Other than that, they are great for Summer. Thanks, Knox!

    is there any pinky finger protection for if my hand gets trapped by the bars in a lowside? Alpinestars and Dianese have distortion control and extra layers of protection on the side of the pinky finger. Does the Handroid offer anything similar?

    • @KnoxArmour
      @KnoxArmour  7 років тому

      Hi Vapor, thanks for the comment. Truth is that this is a very extreme accident occurance and no glove can offer full protection against injury in this case, even the EN13594 states that no motorcycle glove will protect in a hand getting trapped by bars in a lowside. That said, the Handroid features a dual layer of leather and kevlar underlay in this area so there is added protection. Hope that helps.

    What's the difference between the MK3 and previous versions?

    • @KnoxArmour
      @KnoxArmour  6 років тому

      Hi Conner, quite a bit actually, they have a widely overhauled fit which makes the gloves a lot more comfortable, upgraded plastic parts, the latest Boa System, and incorporate extra leather protection on the Boa Closure system. Hope that helps.

    I'm a size large in gloves but I've heard these run a little on the smaller side. Would I be better off getting X-large in these gloves?

    • @KnoxArmour
      @KnoxArmour  8 років тому

      Hi, thanks for the comment!! We have made revisions to the fit and sizing to the MK111 model, so if you follow our sizing chart, you should be OK. Alternatively, you could visit a stockist if you weren't sure, where do you live??

      I just ordered a size large in the MK111 model so hopefully it should be all good. It should break in with wear also and provide a nice fit. I live in Melbourne, Australia. Thanks for your reply!

      erdem yücetürk I feel the Large is still a little on the tight side for me even though I'm mostly a large in all other brands of gloves I've tried. Because I'm just a casual rider I feel that maybe the X-Large would be more suitable and I can just put them on without feeling like I'm trying to break them in. With the Large size there is pressure on the tips of my fingers which causes my hands to go numb after a while so I think I'm going to buy the X-Large to see how they go instead. Then possibly sell the Large. Anthony's review on the Revzilla video seems to be spot on and my hands are pretty much like his! Hope this helps. 😉

      erdem yücetürk No worries bud! Just on another note. I found that sometimes the protective skeletal pieces would catch on the leavers. Not all the time but it was something I noticed at times.
      Also, with the Large size it never felt like it covered my whole palm giving it that smaller size feeling. I will definitely go up a size.
