Cookout Coach it’s a totally different type of burnt ends, I would take brisket Bunt ends on my sandwich over deep fried ribeye burnt ends .8 days a week
I have done this with thicker cut steaks, ribeye and New York strip, in a Turkey fryer using meat hooks. The crust is unbelievable and frying really drives the seasoning into the meat. Plus it ends up very juicy and only takes minutes.
Oh my GOD. 😳 Looks like I just discovered a thing. Can’t wait to try this at home. I’m not usually a fan of well done steak but that ribeye looks juicy and the crust appeal that the seasoning created is driving me wild. Bravo!
Son, I'm following you and I hit both like and the bell of St. Mary's. I grill, I smoke, I do it all but I've never deep fried a Ribeye. Here is the wild part, I just brought a small deep fryer for my catfish and fries but I always thought about doing this to a steak and now I'm gonna.....thanks for the share Kosmo......and this Army vet salutes you, HOOAH!
First saw this about 6 years ago. Did one 6 of them 2 years ago. Used oil from turkey the day before. Combined with the seasoning in the oil and the seasoning I put on, they were amazing.
We’ve had Omaha tenderloin filets sitting in the freezer for two years and we needed to clear stuff out after our groceries were delivered. I had zero hope of making anything good because I barely defrosted them. I put some Lawry’s and ground cumin on them and fried them just enough to be safe to eat, took them out and made fajita sized pieces. Seasoned again, threw them back in the hot oil pan and fried for another 30 seconds. Them sons of guns were juicy and flavorful. This video was a great inspiration!
I'm 62 and my parents were deep frying steaks and all types of meat since I was a child. I've continued this as well so I'm amazed to learn this is considered new to some people.
Hey it’s just another way of doing something... if the flavors are good then it’s cool for an option ... I have a hard time convincing most of my friends to eat steak anyway but well done anyways... a good amount of black people tend to not like any pink in their steak ... I do tho
Oh, I don’t care that he fried them. Might taste good. They just looked pretty over cooked to me. And sure, if you squinted your eyes and looked slightly past the steaks, I guess you might have seen some pink.
Kosmos!!! I've got a recipe for brisket you have to try!!! It's super simple but well worth it. Take a whole Packard brisket and stuff with whole cloves of garlic..... inject with Cajun Power garlic sauce (best sauce on earth). Season the outside with Slap Ya Mama Cajun seasoning then smoked with hickory and apple on any offset till done.. you can even wrap it in butcher paper if you want a great bark.
You just inspired me to buy a deep fryer. I need one for my annual smoked/fried turkey anyways but still, i give you the credit. I have been borrowing the neighbors fryer every year hahaha
I have successfully done this to medium rare. 🤗 The trick is to preheat your oil as close as you can to 500°F. Check it with a thermometer after three minutes, take it out of the 400° oil before it reaches rare and let it rest for at least 10 to15 minutes and it will finish 😋cooking to medium rare and bloody juicy, delicious 🤤
That's actually not cooked well done check 4:43. At first cut it'll look like that as if it is though. But yeah to each their own.. some people just like dry flavorless meat🤔
I hate / love watching steak videos on UA-cam!! Every damn time I see a steak cooked I wanna go make one myself..... only problem it's my wife doesn't eat meat and whenever I eat steak, she gives me this "look" whateva, her loss lol. Great job man, subbed
Thanks salt and pepper and Kosmo Q's. Need to try this out myself. Also Kosmo is the only way to get your Brisket mop by ordering from you or is there anywhere in San Antonio Tx. I can get it from?
Kosmos hey brother I'm a subscriber I haven't seen all your videos I'm getting there but how do you bbq pork chops everytime I bbq them they come out dry any suggestions 🤙🇺🇸🇺🇸
What's your take on dry aging steaks? I've tried the salt brine for 20 minutes then switched it over to the soy sauce for 20 minutes and it's really tender, but does dry aging them make a big difference?
Ribeye burnt ends, that’s using your noodle right there....would you ever sauce them like brisket burnt ends though?
Cookout Coach it’s a totally different type of burnt ends, I would take brisket Bunt ends on my sandwich over deep fried ribeye burnt ends .8 days a week
I didnt know others did burnt ends. Thought it was a Kansas City thing.

I've definitely tried this before. It's not bad. You should try it in an air fryer. So good.

Wow! That’s a mind blowing idea! Ribeye burnt ends!!!

Hey it’s just another way of doing something... if the flavors are good then it’s cool for an option ... I have a hard time convincing most of my friends to eat steak anyway but well done anyways... a good amount of black people tend to not like any pink in their steak ... I do tho
Uh they were pink in the center the second one anyway
Oh, I don’t care that he fried them. Might taste good. They just looked pretty over cooked to me. And sure, if you squinted your eyes and looked slightly past the steaks, I guess you might have seen some pink.
You are right though no pink you might as well throw it in the trash id give it a try to see though especially the cat part outta the deep fryer
Kosmos!!! I've got a recipe for brisket you have to try!!! It's super simple but well worth it.
