She was a true American treasure. She started it all for us, with her PBS cooking shows, cookbooks, and TV appearances. I truly believe that there would be no Food Network, or such interest in good cooking if it weren't for her. Thank you, Julia, wherever you are !!!!
I used to watch her as a child and young woman. She was my first cooking influence. She helped shape me in my journey in cooking. She was a pioneer for women and television and for cooking. Her legacy will live forever. She also lives in my heart.
One thing about Julia is she always made me feel like I was invited over to the house and I got to watch her work her culinary magic while taking notes.
I’m puzzled by why anyone would want to butcher a chicken to preserve the wing and breast together. Wings are great as finger food, but why serve them in this way, to be eaten with a knife and fork as a main course?
why was the original 'these foolish things' theme song replaced with that annoying AI/stock piano thing? you cant possibly be that cheap if its copyright issues

Amen to that. I still love her. She inspired me to go to culinary school.
She's in Heaven's kitchen.
@@ronpetterson279 Dinner in Heaven = menu/dinner provided by Julia Child. God is the special guest who is seated at the head of the table!
@@Nunofurdambiznez in heaven we don't eat. We are in spirit form. We have all we need. We will be rapture soon. Be strong.
Julia
Paved the way for
EVERY cooking show and I love her as much as I love butter ( and that’s a lot)!

I love these “Dinner at Julia’” series. I missed them the first time around

I don't believe I've ever seen Wolfgang Puck WITHOUT gray hair - he looks like a teenager in this video! LOL!!
He looks quite young and handsome. ❤
I love how chef wolfgang had the slices of butter on the dish.
So well prepared.
We miss you Ms Child
Have you seen the trailer for her story it's a real movie.
@@cyankirkpatrick5194ooo another one? We just finished “Julia”.. that’s not what you mean is it? I’ll
Google the movie.. thanks for the tip!
That intro with that big old car then the big comfy dinner ohhh i wish i could live back then
This is so delicious.
Love you Julia.
Thank you.
La Tuplip! The legendary Sara Moulton used to work there...one of Julia's proteges.
Just think she started on public access TV.❤
So did "Mystery Science Theater 3000," come to think of it. KTMA, out of Minneapolis/St. Paul.
@@thetribunaloftheimaginatio5247 WOW thanks for the information.
@@cyankirkpatrick5194 No problem!
If you lived in the real world, you would know she was always on PBS.
I've shown a few friends how to break down a chicken and they've all been surprised how simple it is once they actually did it.
This appears in her magnum opus....1989s "The Way to Cook".
She towers over Wolfgang 😂
She was 6ft 2ins, she towered over most people!
Do cannibals loosen our skin when they want to stuff us? 😂
Slightly different understanding of political correctness back tehn.😊
Scratching that non stick skillet with the whisk is making me very uneasy! Shame on him!!
A few Teflon scrapings in the sauce never hurt anyone.😅
I was thinking that exact same thing!!!!
Ahh cannibalism, the final frontier of the culinary arts.

"Cannibals do the same when they want to stuff us!" 😹 💚 😹
I grew up calling the parts inside lizard and gigurs I always thought it was another made up name my father used to say 🙀🤗🤭!!!
