Really love you openess and honesty , I am 40 years old used to ride yz80s and briefly yz125. Stopped over 20 years ago just up and caught the itch and picked up a fully restored 2002 kx125 bored out to 144cc and am fully stressed that I must be crazy lol. But I am utterly determined to whip myself back into shape and get good at this. Keep up the good work. 2 strokes really let you know you are Alive !!
I’m 50 years old and recently got back into dirt bikes after 30 years riding on the street. Bought a 2020 YZ250X to ride here in New Mexico. It’s an awesome fun machine but the first few times out it really wore me out. The constant moving around, strong power hit, 5000ft altitude really got me breathing hard. Good thing is it has modivated me to work out and do cardio daily. Get a good hydra pak to keep yourself hydrated. Squeezing the bike with your legs helps. One thing I’ve found is the faster you go the better the YZ gets. Don’t be afraid to be more aggressive with it. It’ll reward you…
I absolutely 100% agree. I raced my friends bike (same as yours) and it's so difficult. One thing I would always forget and never learnt how, was to pinch and ride the bike with the legs. That way your arms are less tired no idea how, as I'd hold on tight for my life all the time. Keep going dude, your video are always the best quality 👍
just a tip, never bleed the valves on forks when riding let the forks cooldown because u could create a vacuum in the chamber and seals could wrap in/out and get dirt in and lose oil!
I had a yz125 (back when they used yellow plastic parts instead of the blue) and I learned how to ride in tough situations, really helped when I got into a road bike..
I also let the shop change my tyres ....and my yz is my favorite bike of all time.the longer you ride yours the more tame she 'll get and the more confident you'll get.they are simply one of a kind.keep ripping
The first times trying to chanes tires on a MX.... i can really relate to that.... Thinking it is a quick job, strugeling for a hour or two just to rip the inner tube.... ((:
Starting to look at bit more comfortable on the bike, I would say try grip with your knees tho, this will help stop the arm pump and also give you more control over the bike
@@raheefmohd It's a 2-stroke. It gets its lubrication mixed with the fuel. During engine braking, no fuel is injected, so no lubrication either. Can cause premature wear apparently.
Holy shit this exact thing happened to me today when i thought i coulc do the tube replacement on my bmx and ended up destroying the tube,,,, tried patching it up but had to buy a new one... so bad luck
I sold my kx125 to buy a kx250 and really wish I hadn't. That 125 handled better and I could downshift as if I had a blipper! 3 wrecks later with a tweaked knee I sold my 250 and all my motocross gear vowing to stick to riding safer bikes like my rsv4!
You shouldnt engine brake a two stroke, i know its a habit hard to shake off if you have only ridden 4-strokes but it could in the long term cause damage to the engine
I am obsessed with your videos so accurate about Bikers and their problems
You can try to take the expansion chamber to a music store because they remove dents from instruments
I liked when you said you were going to change your rubber... I knew the tube wouldn't make it... because mine didn't.
Thanks for being real bro.

Love that 2-stroke sound. I was looking at the exact same bike. I had a 91 RM125 growing up

Keep it up mate! Welcome to the two stroke club 🤘🏻
Awesome video, definitely look forward to giving the 2-stroke another go
I just bought an 03 CR250R.
There's nothing comparable to a 2-stroke powerband bitch slapping you.
Everything You Choose You Do You Do Great!🌟

i love riding pitters every once in a while on the kiddy track
Hi bud, have a look at the Polisport Armadillo pipe guard. I work for Droomers Yamaha down in Cape Town so if you don't come right I can hook you up

I really wish you get all the followers you deserve, you are doing an amazing job! 🤘
i love your channel you deserve much more subs
keep it up!
i love dirt bronco.
You gotta keep a 2 stroke revved, it's not a cruiser,, they are very high strung,, they ain't happy unless they're wide ass open..
Man I miss riding in SA 😢
Edit: your editing is sick man new sub !
Smooth AF
nice bike
Dope bike
Be careful with engine braking, don’t do it all the time
Why?

Haha was thinking the same thing , painful to hear on video
@@bulletcomif that was the case, wouldn’t these Rekluse clutches be destroying bikes?
You lucky you got the right bleeders for the forks my dumbass cousin got the wrong size and had to remove the bars twice.
A 125 smoker will make progression a lot quicker. Dirt Broncos is an excellent place to learn MX technique!
You at my favorite track hopefully I see you there sometime😂
i heard closer to motor is that bend on pipe more problem should it be so this isn´t that bad if this think is true
Fill the pipe with water. Cap and freeze it. It'll remove the dent for free.
Just wait until you find that power band, how many plugs did you foul 🤣
Well I should go to bed right now but hell who needs sleep anyway
Holy shit this exact thing happened to me today when i thought i coulc do the tube replacement on my bmx and ended up destroying the tube,,,, tried patching it up but had to buy a new one... so bad luck
If you can bend it by hand, what protection is it offering?
Let me guess mine dumps so, Johannesburg?
Does anyone know exactly where this track is?
You can get a dent sorted for 40quid mate
Braaaapp
red bull red bull ,,,,,,,, XD
love the vid but maybe make the gopro colors pop a bit more
Would you mind to share me that yz wallpaper on your desktop ?
If you click the join button and pay a few bucks it's part of the perks of being a member!
How hard could it be to mount tires... go ahead and get atleast 4 additional tubes... for each tire.
Try change ur fork oil weight
Instalike
Name the bike. Sanchez
Tips: Don't ride a 2 stroke in a 4 stroke ways. It's a different animal to have fun with and real bikers usually own both engine type in their garage.

thats a table top not a step up
Boring! Get the r6 back.
Just kidding! I love the YZ-250... But I love the r6 even more.
