I've thought for a long time Press has been under utilized. Heath has always been a fave of mine. So much skill.

@Playfulpanthress I know that they are the best national team in women's soccer, but my point is that you can't excuse multiple bad misses just by saying that "the angle of their leg and foot was wrong", as if that's not their fault. Every player has full control of the angle of their leg and foot, so if it is wrong, then they are fully responsible for that.
Good players take responsibility for their actions, and don't pretend that something they did just happened, as if it was outside of their control.

I love Rose Lavelle she like the little engine that could adorable, congrats to Lindsey Horan a nice game, Julie Ertz is stunning, you can see Megan Rapinoe is missing Alex Morgan, Lynn and Jessica have difficulty connecting with Rapinoe, Press and Heath complement each other just like Megan Alex Carli

Ik Pugh hasn’t been as good lately but I still think she is way better than Macdonald, maybe she had a bad night but she missed SO MANY easy tap in chances, like that wouldn’t happen with Pugh, just my opinion

@@AllinGold2 No but when they put Horan in center mid, she is everywhere. If you watch closely she's a magnet to where the ball is going to go, she's patient with other's plays and is always there. Her passing accuracy as of 2020 is like 99%. and she did get 3 goals and 1 assist in this game. I like to think of her as a stealthy ghost,1 second shes on wing the next shes taking a shot from the middle. By far one of my favorite players and her game improves every year, so exciting to watch her be able to fill the shoes of someone like lloyd one day, not replace her but put her own twist on the center mid. If the coach keeps playing her in this position she will be unstoppable. Sh'es a play maker.

With Morgan in the team, Rose Lavelle and the other forwards have acres to play because the rival team usually puts two or three markers to keep an eye on Alex Morgan. They are so afraid of her. Besides, Morgan draws so many fouls increasing the chances of the team to score.*

Pugh is a way better finisher than McDonalds . I love the way she plays. It's way better that all these others players are scoring instead of just highlighting Morgan.
Not really. Pugh has a lot to work on, she’s still really young. McDonalds is a really solid player that just doesn’t get much time
Pugh has really not been great over the last year. I’m hoping being left off this roster will light a fire in her, because I’m not a fan of JMac and Lynn’s lack of quality finishing. Against a good team, we’ll need better. I would like to see Pugh make it back to form.

With a new coach there will always be some type of readjustment. But for you to say there was no team spirit is ridiculous. First of all, they played a lot of different players that didn't play at all in the world cup. Last night in particular, many of their key players sat on the bench and Alex Morgan is missing the entire tournament because she's pregnant. Hopefully, she'll be back for the Olympics. This team could have won 15-0 last night.
They are only two games in with the new coach. Give it some time and they will be back as a dominate team.
They are working at playing a whole different style. There’s going to be growing pains. Our January games are always awful, anyway. Hasn’t stopped them from winning the important games.
