I loved my old school. Alpine type Rs and rockford fosgate. Power series. Original. 1500w amp. X2 channel N a 750 w power series x4 amp for mids and highs
Sealed box with those they take about double the rated power pretty easy alpine Rockford and kicker to me are 3 brands that give u about 30% more than rated on subs and amplifiers

@BudgetAudiowithJ- Wow these are efficient= 145.8 on only 719 watts, on that 1st max burp! Those duals took 1191 watts to do a 144.2. Not to mention these Alpine Type E subwoofers put up 145+ Db @ multiple freq., showing a much better=less peaky= flatter bandwidth! J, did these sound pretty good on music, being that they are low level/budget friendly subwoofers? Great video.
Back in the day these were actually pretty good. They were replaced by the S series. I recently sold a set of e10s they bumped decent.

See why ppl like high sensitivity subs low power and loud. Subs went in the wrong direction on design all towards 80 sensitivity floppy surround flapping bass this kinda bass tickles ur nose hairs
@@joshholden8561- The thing that some people don't know is lower eff. Subwoofers work better/will outperform high eff. Subwoofers in small enclosures= most car audio enclosures. Esp. Prefabed enclosures. High eff. Subwoofers only shine in huge enclosures, and typically don't play low freq., as well, as low eff. Subwoofers.
@@evilinside5984 any high eff sub I've had with a 90db or higher sensitivity also had a really low fs from 26-30htz and in a small sealed enclosure did really well and if there's any big peaks I'm sound u eq to flatten out the bandwidth . My observation only.
those are the older version the newer version where ratted at 1000 watts rms much like the newer type r
how do you like that cap from jy power. os it helping you keep voltage? and what voltage do you drop to with that cap?
Its okay it def gives me more burst power, voltage is still around the same dropping to 12.8 compare to 12.3
@BudgetAudiowithJ- I think in all of your testing, with a pair of 12s, in this vehicle, NOTHING has had this output= 145.8 Db @ ONLY 719 WATTS! These are the New Efficient Budget Bangers! Hey J, can you face this enclosure backwards, and still have 6 to 10 inches of breathing room, to see if these could hit 146+ Db @ Less than 800 watts!?
Only subs up port up if I do port back i would only have about 1 to maybe 2 inch of breathing room 😬

Hell of a score, that extra 89 sensitivity helping it get loud on little wattage. Alpine was my first brand amplifier I ever bought in 93, I loved that amp. It was only 60X2 but it jammed. Keep up the good content💯👍
