Lethal Enemies on EDD are ridiculous, 4 hits and you're down. On the plus side no drilldozer mission this week. It's like the dozer is made of paper. Having said that, paper beats rock so technically it's made out of scissors as the rocks always seem to beat me. You heard it here first. That Drilldozer is made of recycled scissors.
8:40 Twins are guaranteed at least one heal per fight. You did good making sure they were as close to equal as possible though when it happened, as this minimizes the health gain!
The console version of this EDD is absolutely busted. As soon as we start the first area, the refinery pops the cocoon on its way in and all hell breaks loose!
@@ReapeeRonYea, I’m trying to complete an EDD for the first time solo, but haz5 still gives me problems. I did manage to kill the twins, but failed during a swarm of Tri-jaw mactera 😵💫
My first run I actually had to deal with a bulk detonator when defending lol. Lost cause of it. Decided to play with randos and we got one during the defense as well, but I was scout so I just grabbed agro and dealt with it away from everyone.
I had to fight two detonators on the second mission as gunner and it was so hard and I had 1 life left. And also why is the first mission and the last mission the same.
Hey, Ron! Love your stuff. I recommend it to new players all the time. I was wondering if you bother to animation cancel any reloads? I don't notice you doing it much. I have been doing it more and more myself lately after I learned about it. It can come it clutch but I don't know how big of a deal it is. Thanks for all your content and advice!
just sitting here kinda thinking how cool class based shooters can be, it allows people who otherwise wouldnt be able to hang out with the really cool and good shooter kids with 70%+ accuracy with half being head shots in the higher difficulties which otherwise wouldnt be possible. the different avenues of possibilities to obtain the same goal(to win) are larger in games with complex interactions like this. these new weapons def made accessibility easier than ever before thats for sure. the best part is that we'll prob still be getting carried, but we help so much in diff ways that it matters less. i try to focus on not dying at the root of everything and thats enough for me to be able to kinda carry despite being average at best at aiming.
was doing this dive just now and the game decided to crash on me when i was about to start the fuel cells on the second mission. coping, seething, malding, etc. very not rock & stone
Watching these dives always ticks me off. This particular mission, I drop right in, and I'm immediately being attacked by two flying drones, ceiling sniper turrets are actively shooting, bugs are attacking me in the back no matter how many I clear, and obviously the ground turrets are going wild. There's not a single safe place to stand for more than half a second around the oil rig. Yet watching someone else play, all the baddies seem to attack him staggered only one at at time, as though he were a Power Ranger. I've been playing this game for well over 3 years and never been able to get past the first mission of an EDD.
I'm on Playstation and have been playing DRG for 5 months now and have completed 10 EDD so far, the thing about EDD is you gotta be comfortable playing in haz 4, you'll die a lot and fail missions but that's how you learn :) When I first started I used to be afraid of haz 3, and didn't even dare to open EDD, first few times I just completed the first round to get the blank core and didn't care enough to complete the EDD lol, but one or two times I got carried by good teammates and then had enough confident to play on my own. I'm sure you have a lot of experience than me so you should be confident on yourself and push the limit, roch and stone.

You hade blown my mind away, it all makes sense now
this sounds like smart stout dialogue
@@mostlikelysmarterthanyou5031 ye was gonna say this is some REAL dwarf logic if i ever heard it lmao
Yeah they can do pretty crazy damage.

Really? That sounds rough!

That sucks when that happens.
We sure have gotten a lot of Elite dives in Sandblasted Corridors lately 😆 Rock and Stone Ron!!

Thanks, and for a few weapons I reload cancel like the Lok-1,M1000, and the Warthog. Most of the others there isn't that much difference in time.
@@ReapeeRon definitely agree with Lok-1. Thanks Ron!

even OW allows for this kind of interaction, although with much less margin for errors for people like that.
