Funny enough, I've seen people do random interviews, stories and documentaries with Asians who style their hair to adopt black culture, and all of them spoke with love and admiration, and were highly educated about the origins of the style they had and they made it known who their black inspirations are, and speak on how they resonate with that person and spoke against how black people are treated. When asked how having these styles affected them, the majority of them expounded on how strongly they were discriminated against in their societies. Lost their girl, can't get a job, called out by elders, abandoned by family etc. Yet they go through it because the love runs deep. Anyone willing to endure the black treatment and who emulates from a place of love and appreciation will get a pass from me. It's not always hate.
