Cheap, what a joke! I can buy a far tastier and filling Asian dish, for less and mum and dad stores are much better for the same product (burger, fries and drink) Greedflation is out of control. Big miss for me.
The food has gotten worse, on top of being expensive. Many companies did see cost go up during the pandemic but many kept them there, I am looking at you Coke. I went to Spain last year and was amazed at the food at MC Donald's. I am a picky eater and was not a fan of the local food so I ate most of the time Mc Donald's and Burger king, like 70 percent of the time. Prices were about the same if not cheaper and the food... Was premium, The bread tasted fresher and didn't fall apart on me big mac, it was noticeably larger and it looked like a big mac in the picture. It was tasty, lettuce was crispy. Not the same Mc Donald's, every Mc Donald's, we visited 4 cities and didn't eat at the same MC Donald's twice for two weeks. When I got back I went to Mc Donald's and got a big mac. What a disappointment. Its not about profits, its about greed. Mc Donald's made more money off of less sales.
I ate there for the first time in over 6 months last week....last time I will...got the fish fillet meal....which was mediocre...but ...the size was ridiculously small for the price...the sandwich was what I would consider a slider no more than 2 x 2 in size with soggy small fry and soda which came to a shade under 12 bucks...on the flip side today I went to a local restaurant and paid 10 bucks with tip for one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had with a side of hashbrowns....made fresh in front of me with bacon egg and caramelized onions on a brioche bun with excellent service...will definitely be giving my business to them....I am on the road a lot for my job so I don't always have the means to eat in....I always try to find mom and pop places but they are becoming harder to find or some are horrible...I keep a list so if I am ever back in the area I know where to go...
Bullshit. People still come in droves. One person today ordered a total of 70 nuggets. One 10 piece one 20 piece and a 40 piece, plus fries and drinks. Order total was $70. This happens all day everyday. GTFOOH.

All businesses small or big have facing losses this time. People cannot afford to eat outside and prefer to cook at home just to save for survival in the tough times. Reality🎯
it's mental that people don't know mcdonalds makes money from rent and land not burgers, should explain the lack in quality and consistency. excellent breakdown.
Let's not forget the people they've got working there now. They hate having to work and they take it out on the customers. The food is always prepared horribly now too. Then they jack up the price too? Yeah, no thanks! Bye bye.
Whatever they do to remedy their problem, it won't involve me because I'll never eat out again....anywhere. I prefer to cook my own food. I'll be dipped if I'll pay 15 to 30 dollars for one meal. Tired of the money grubbing.
My local Diner hasn't raised it's price on a Cheeseburger in years and you get a large order of Fries and a side of Coleslaw, Bottomless Coffee or Soda for $14.50 and it's absolutely cooked fresh for me! Oh, and Lettuce, Tomatoes and Onion included! .... Find a Diner and have a Real Hamburger!

Oh the old bullshit corporate line of blaming the minimum wage. Okay so I want to see your proof from any of these businesses please post somewhere and itemized profit and loss statement that actually backs up these people's claim you can't you don't have access to that and oh by the way none of these companies nor the independent franchisees are going to show you their books so they'll all head over to Dr foutsi news. Periodically they might even go to the Communist news network and they'll bitch piss and moan about the minimum wage they'll convince you that that's the problem except they never show up with an itemized profit and loss statement to actually approve their claim notice how they've never not even in the past 20 years not once has any of these assholes ever shown up with an itemized profit and loss statement to prove to the public that their claims are valid. They won't because they have something to hide and in this case it is profits they want to blame everyday regular labor but they don't ever want you to discuss the stupid amounts of money and bonus money that's being thrown around at the top. so until you get your hands on an itemized profit and loss statement that can actually prove that labor is to blame then I don't think you have a leg to stand on.
Without the ability to afford McDonald's, many millions will have no other choice than .......................................................................... S O Y L E N T G R E E N
There is 24 hours in a day, I am sure you can work 16 to 20 hours in any given day. You can work 16 to 20 hours a day for 5 days. Then, you will not have problems affording things, right?
I bought 2 items on the dollar menu. The small orange juice i got to go with it, was more than my food order. I could have bought the whole bottle of orange juice from Aldi for what they changed me. Never again.
Their Food is just Fuel ? Top dollar for cheap gas ? Energy costs are affecting every layer of process ? Real killer is the labor costs ? Costs top dollar to get generally unreliable- unteachable - government want to be ( entitled and unmotivated) - lousy Attitude ? Service Now an Old Memory ? In Short - Their Business Plan NO LONGER WORKS ! Used to be Win Win for Company and Licensee ! Now Company Still Wins - Licensee Sometimes ? Most smaller Operators were driven out years ago ? Company likes to claim they’re just a loose Confederation of Independent Businessmen ( to avoid Unionization) - BUT IN REALITY THE COMPANY RULES AND CONTROLS WITH AN IRON FIST - only Safe if you’re a Minority ( fear of Class Action Lawsuits Very Frightening) ? Future Bleak ? 😢
The first McDonald's hamburger I had cost fifteen cents, when the federal minimum wage was $1.25 per hour. [Note: the real minimum wage was a dollar an hour.] It was a pretty poor excuse for a hamburger, but the equivalent of $1.68 today. If the company is falling on hard times, I have no sympathy at all for them.
Well on top of that notice how All of these fast food chains but businesses in general get on the doctor fauchi news or they'll head over to the Communist news network and they'll bitch piss and moan about the minimum wage they'll always whine they'll always blame minimum wage but notice how they never bring The receipts? Notice how they never show up with an itemized profit lost statement that clearly lays it out this is the labor cost this is the food cost this is the building maintenance cost this is etc etc cost right they never bring any fucking proof to back up their claims that the minimum wage rising is what's hurting them even though they've cut wages and people to shit they're not really paying out any more wages to any one person than they were 15 years ago but apparently the public cannot do math let alone analytical math and there again they're not going to open their books You're not even going to get an independent franchisee to open their books publicly because they have something to hide in this case it's profits and they don't want you to know exactly what their cost is they're not in the business of being honest. My thing is if you're going to holler so much about the minimum wage as a company or even an independent business owner then if you want the public to agree with you if you want the public to have sympathy for your cause then shouldn't you provide the proof and that proof would be an itemized profit loss statement in fact I would talk about how you should show up with more than one so that you can lay out a pattern of a few years to perhaps a decade and you can prove your case. Basically to me it proves that there is no actual real journalism particularly any real investigative journalism today because you know CNN is supposed to be one of the liberal outlets right they're supposed to be all about the minimum wage according to those who oppose it but what gets me is there's no fucking commentator on any of the liberal networks CNN PMSNBC whatever that is going to tell these people well did you bring an itemized profit loss statement so that we can pour over that and you can prove a case to the public not a fucking one of them have said that they have never challenged any of these executives they have never challenged any of the so-called local business owners that ended up on national news not once. So even the network that's supposed to claim to be liberal or ultra-liberal and is supposed to be all about the minimum wage according to the opposing network and/or networks isn't asking the proper question to make these people prove I mean if I were a host I wouldn't give a shit what network it is and these people came on and wanted to babble about minimum wage and they wanted to sit there and blame the wage going up and etc well I would present them first with how it's nonsense because you've also cut wages given that you've cut hours so you can talk about the proverbial 15 or $20 an hour but how many people are really actually making any real amount of money givens it for basically 18 years across the entire industry the common fast food worker was going to get 13 to 16 hours and definitely no more than 20 a shift manager has largely been capped at no more than 28 hours so exactly how are they making out like bandits? see that's what I would point out and then I would go on to say until you show up with an itemized profit and loss statement so that we can actually hash over the numbers get the hell off my show That's basically what they would be told of course I would probably be fired from the network that's trying to sell a bullshit narrative to the public but then I would just make like all the other people that have left cable news and start a podcast!
They no longer have any meaningful offers on their mobile app... you know, offers that bring people in, where they buy more food to go with the offer, typically a lot more... two can dine for $12.99 has now become 20% off a McChicken (pickup only, one offer per purchase)
Sanitation in Micky D's is poor. The meat warmers are bacteria nests. How long has the meat been in there? Here in NC, poor workers and poor supervisors/managers. I stopped buying here and even Burger King is nasty. Customer service has hit a new low.
I'd go there often IF they processed 1 grass fed beef per lot number (not a 100 or more). Used certified organic burger buns. Organic condiments. Same with the drinks, just use plain ordinary cane sugar for fountain drinks (ZERO high fructose), maybe some rudy.coffee for drinks. Use organic potatoes deep fried in tallow like they originally used back in the good ole days. Until then it's nothing but mcpukes.

Yeah but WHAT OIL? If it's not saturated animal-based, it's probably unhealthy.
Air fry or bake some potato and it's One ingredient 😂😂😂😂😂
If your concerned about your health, you shouldn’t eat anything with more than five ingredients.
Their ice cream machine is always broken.
They don’t clean that machine. That’s why it stays broken.
Also, no baked apple pies😢
Have you ever read the ingredients? That's not "ice cream"... it's all chemicals.
Trump will fix that
That Too!
Who the h*ll would eat anything from Mc D?!
I do
ikr?
GTFOOH.
Where is that? Birmingham Alabama?
I don’t believe you but cool story bro.
The funniest thing with fast food it comes as quick as it's done.😅😅😅
Its called price gouging and its supposed to be illegal.
People are also boycotting McDonalds because they give free food to the IDF that adds insult to injury for the giant fast food chain
Another excellent video on this channel.
This channel presents economic data and facts that are difficult to find. This one of my favorite economic channels.
Keep the information flowing, it's of great value.
All businesses small or big have facing losses this time. People cannot afford to eat outside and prefer to cook at home just to save for survival in the tough times. Reality🎯
it's mental that people don't know mcdonalds makes money from rent and land not burgers,
should explain the lack in quality and consistency. excellent breakdown.
We should all boycott the fast food corporations!
It's not just the cost of fast food prices It's people eating more healthier
Eating out isn't even an option. I simply can't afford it.
Just stay open long enough so I can get my Mario kart toy set.
Yeah I even got rid of my McDonald’s app and I had points on it I’m kool of McDonald’s I felt ill to after eating a filet fish
In the past, I would get m.d. Filet fish, they only gave you half a slice of cheese, I complained many times, finally I stopped buying their fillet fish sandwich because of that.
Time to raise their minimum wage to $20 an hour. 🙄
Im a custodian making less the $13 an hour. Good luck 😊
@@tiffanyisaacson1407 Min wage in the US should now be at least $50/hr. Fight back!
@@tiffanyisaacson1407 Min wage in the US should now be at least $50/hr. Fight back!
If they did that, the prices would just be raised making everything even that much more expensive.
cheaply made food at expensive prices. Panda Express bigger plate is still reasonable. and healthier.
OH THE HUMANITY ☠️
catering to the wrong demographic
Without the ability to afford McDonald's, many millions will have no other choice than .......................................................................... S O Y L E N T G R E E N
Wouldn’t you think people at the drive through would be saying as they pay Wa Wa Wa WHAT????!!!!!!!!🤔😂😂😂
There is 24 hours in a day, I am sure you can work 16 to 20 hours in any given day.
OJ is just sugar water. Sets you up for Insulin resistance and diabetes... just like Coca Cola!
I wonder if the minimum wage increases caused them to simply charge more to compensate for the labor
Incorrect, they're going back to the burger meat for the source. There is a nation wide recall on beef.
Haven't been to a McD's in 2 years. No intention of going back. Prices too high. Quality became lower.
Yeah. The triple cheese burger only gets 2 cheeses now instead of 3. Now what use to be 99 cents is now is $6.25
They no longer have any meaningful offers on their mobile app... you know, offers that bring people in, where they buy more food to go with the offer, typically a lot more... two can dine for $12.99 has now become 20% off a McChicken (pickup only, one offer per purchase)
I cut cable 20 years ago. No fast food in 5+ years now. I just realized I'm a trend sitter.
Sanitation in Micky D's is poor. The meat warmers are bacteria nests. How long has the meat been in there? Here in NC, poor workers and poor supervisors/managers. I stopped buying here and even Burger King is nasty. Customer service has hit a new low.
Thank goodness for the McValue initiative!
Why spend money at McYuk when it costs so much I can go to some sit-down restaurants for just a bit more.
No, it's a lot more
Bring in the tallow oil MCDONALD’s….!!!!!
McDonald’s Big Macs look like Happy Meals now
Pre 2020's Americans " How can MacDonalds be so cheap?"
2020s American " Why come how much?"
McDonald's fries are only "good" when they are fresh and still warm, but wait a few minutes and they become gross and inedible :(
