Nikah is a powerful and inspiring story of a young girl’s fight for her social and religious rights.
Opinionated and confident by nature, Anusha is a beautiful young girl who knows how to stand up for her rights. After losing her mother at a young age, Anusha has been brought up by her aunt, Umaima with a lot of love and care. Umamia is a bit hesitant about Anusha’s assertiveness and often makes her understand.
Class fellows and best friends, Anusha and Haris are in love with each other and soon plan to marry. On the contrary, Hamdaan is a handsome young man who belongs to a wealthy family and is the only son of his father. He falls in love with Anusha on his very first meeting with her however is respectful of Anusha’s choices.
Anusha’s hope and dreams come crashing down when Haris challenges her thoughts. The supposedly liberal fabric of Haris and his family is exposed when Anusha takes a stand for her rights. After losing everything, will Anusha stay true to herself and fight against all odds? Despite everything, will Anusha realize her true admirer and supporter in form of Hamdaan?

I always miss that our drama should show the guilty get severely punished. But even when it's raepists or abusers thyy go free .
You are absolutely right in your assessment of this situation leolady stewart. The writers, at this point, are dragging the story. I mean just think about it. His wife was put in harms way, and he cares more about the promise made to his mother? Where is the common sense? Once the evil reveals itself, why even give it a second chance? Who is to say Raina won't try to do this again.

Farooq talking about his love is funny. He doesn't even know what love means. He only cares for Umaima now because she is pregnant. We all remember how he treated before that accusing her of coming between his kids and him and not treating her well or with respect.

What girl doesn't want to hear sucgh romantic talk on her wedding night. Imagine if a woman did that. Before he found out she was pregnant, Farooq was ignoring and neglecting Umaima because of Yusra, accusing of her bringing her niece into his house, lying to her and testing her loyalty, and refused to even talk to her always sulking and showing nakhray. But the pregnancy magically made him kind to her though still he refuses to protect her by not keeping her around Rayna and Yusra all guys except Hamdan are shown as chuna kakas m

I was also wondering about the 180 degree change in Farooq’s behavior and attitude after the news of Umaima expecting. On the one hand, he wants her to take rest and proper diet. On the other, he leaves her alone among predators.
