2023 was personally my favourite with all of the really cool and colourful lighting and had all of the halloween cosmetics from past years. I like the 2024 update but it just feels like they didn’t put much effort into it because every halloween update had something that would make it better than the last. This update is basically the same as 2023 with less of the lights and worse cosmetics. I guess you could count the new ghost tag gamemode but that is literally the exact same thing as the ambush gamemode. I really hope they bring back more of the old cosmetics through flashbacks.
What about the free mods map....it might be the same but there still was a awesome update to the new halloween update for the free mods map but they did put alot of effort in the new halloween update 2024 because they added a free mod map........

@@aubreyrose3122for one, brooms can just be duplicated and they can change the path, since they were in last years update it wasnt that hard, also the moon isn’t new either since it was in metro before this update, and the “free mods” or the custom maps, is permanent while the Halloween updates are temporary, so I would be separating those two by saying the custom maps were cool but the Halloween update sucks because it’s literally just last years update

For anyone wondering why only half of the past cosmetics came back and some ghost stuff like the monke guy is missing, there is definitely a part two on the way, considering these cosmetics leave or change before halloween ends.
Tbh 2024 is pretty good for more Lucy spawns and cool interactive things like that wizard in city but I wish they brought back the mines decor for og caves because that was pretty cool

@@Shibainugt lemming dont really work on the game that much, its mostly his dev team, but i do agree that 2022 and 2023 were better, i did some looking into it and the new halloween update is just the 2023 assets just retoggled in unity, its not new stuff its just the old assets with some tiny changes and thats it, if you look behind the cosmetic stand in stump you can see a candle of were the computer desk used to be.

Fun fact, the second Halloween caused almost all of the updates to look good, it’s what caused Lemming to be inspired and make better updates.
