This is an awesome app. Thanks for the tutorial. I just created one that I'm uploading to Etsy. New store and no sales yet. I'll lyk if this one gains traction!
Hey Kelly, your videos are always cool and useful. For this one, I have a suggestion to avoid removing background, avoid the annoying remaining black pixels, avoid to enlarge the image to facilitate the background deletion and so on. With my tecnique you dont even need to remove the background, so that your image can be intricated and complex as you want. Let's say you traced your cat. If you download this WITHOUT background, you have an image completely black except for the cat, which is transparent, Let's call this image TC (transparent cat). If you download it WITH background (white or any color), you create a second image, CC (colored cat), that is again all black except for the cat that is white (or red or blue..). Now the trick: open these two in Photopea or Affinity and simply erase TC from CC. This will delete every single piece of black, because every single piece of black is overlapping in both TC and CC. Export and voilà. Perfect and clean result on whatever image. Give it a try and tell me :) Ciao 😘
Kelly do you have a video that shows how to make the fonts like they look on creative fabrica. Not the png fonts but actual text font. One is called Leopard Mardi Gras or it might be Mardi Gras leopard. It’s half black and half a purple leopard print. Half side by side not too and bottom?
@@therapydesigns The letters are half black and half leopard - so would I have to use the clipping mask for one letter at a time? Because if I put it over the entire word it will fill the entire word.
Hi. I found an image on a light background. Followed your instructions with the roses exampl; I.e., creating a black background, downloading/uploading it. However, when I embed the traced design, it won't allow me to remove the background. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.
Once you get the traced design you have to download it again so it is solid black and white and then do the background remover. Keep trying, I'm sure you will figure it out with practice.
Thanks for sharing that app is not working for me it keeps saying sign up for pro which I have and it keeps giving an error message to us it on the desktop which I am doing
I do not pay for Canva pro so I cannot use the remove background feature. Do you have another way to remove background for free? And also at the end where you do the transparent background?
Kittl may allow you to do it for free? They have everything almost like photoshop and canva together. They do backgrounds remover, upscale and vectorizer and AI, elements thousands of fonts all in the platform
@ it’s a GREAT platform that continues to get BETTER I would look into their YT channel-there’s like 95% you can do on it alone on their one platform and not have to leave or use apps…bigger artboards and multiple for one price and if you can use canva you can easily transfer to being able to use it! If you’re using it for POD I say it’s the best. It’s not PS learning curve which you can use Photopea if you need that. They have A LOT more to come. They have mock ups also! And new stuff comes out every month!! And a constant update videos and most YT’ers use it to make tutorials and the use of their professional templates and nothing is copywriting so you can use everything 100% which I wouldn’t do just bc you need to add value but you know what I mean with CF and Canvas policies. I still like canva but as pod it won’t be much longer I need it. Hope you enjoy it!
Very nice! I've been on hiatus for a year. So, I need to bone up and get the juices flowing.. Thanks! (glad to see that your channel growth is coming along nicely.. 😊)
I can look into it but I don't personally use kittl. I get offers from lots of platforms wanting to pay me to make videos for them but I have never taken any money from companies for my videos because I only share what I actually use myself.

Hiya, thanks for the tip. How do you do that though?
@Hamskywal7811 I gave the full process in my comment

I would probably use a clipping mask over the text using photopea and then an outline or shadow using Canva. I'll look into that for you.
