Thanks Olly for a well organised open farm event we traveled from Driffield East Yorkshire Our nephew Charlie thoroughly enjoyed trying all your tractors out for size and please pass on to Georgina she makes a great brew !!
My wife Jackie & I travelled from King's Lynn, Norfolk to your open day & really enjoyed it. Was great to see all the machinery, old and new and see how the reality compares to what we see on UA-cam. Jackie thinks you should bag up the chipped Christmas trees and see it as air freshener! Great to meet you too.
Great video fantastic what you’ve done, couldn’t help laugh Georgina looks a handful 🤣 she looks smitten with you 🤣 look forward to tomorrow’s video and a look at 1200 👍👍
We travelled from uttoxeter, we had a very interesting day great to see so many enterprises on one farm, keep up the good work doing a great job for British agriculture 😀😀😀
Well done Olly on the open day a big thanks to all who turned up. Sorry had to work just catch-up with what you post Old massy will be a job and a half
Fantastic day ollie. Came over from Leeds with my two none farming background housemates. I’ve grown up on dairy farms round Huddersfield so am very fond of your case collection. I was the dude that used to work at JCB before moving back up to Leeds. Thanks for an awesome morning (and photo!) and we had a great afternoon on the booze in Liverpool afterwards!
We traveled from Staffordshire today. Really enjoyed the visit. You are all so welcoming. Very interesting tour of your farm.high light of the day Chester. 😄😄. Thank you for a great day
Thanks for giving us an insight in to everything you do at the open day. We traveled down from Cumbria and all thoroughly enjoyed our day. Your Mam and dad were so welcoming to us as well. It was a pleasure chatting to them. It was odd seeing the machinery in the flesh. We knew all about them yet we’d never seen them before.
Thanks to you and all your team what a great job it was nice to see a proper working farm, nothing was hidden it looked just how a working farm should look…you all made us welcome and looked after us it was well worth the long trip from Holbeach Lincolnshire will come back again
Thanks for today Olly, my granddaughter loved the tractors. She’s only 4 but keeps telling us she wants be a farmer, and more so now she’s sat in a tractor 🚜
Thanks again for a great video, looks like you had a great day,you can always use the 1200 for ploughing in circles! Furthest person 🇦🇺 I was there in spirit 😁😁.
I think you should still use that pic of the Massey with that stunning sunrise as next January's calandar pic - and then you can take one of it all restored for Jan 2024! Open day looked good and another great effort for charity 🙂 70% today
Traveled from Sheffield for the open day, top day out, thanks for organising and nice to be able to relate to the videos having seen it all in reality. 4955 was my favourite, proper beast
Thank you very much for today olly really enjoyed seeing the machinery. Think my favourite was the 7710 looks mint for its age, can’t wait to see something blue in the shed.
Evening Olly. The open day seems to have been a great success from watching todays video and a couple of tweets I have seen on Twitter so congratulations. The 1200 is going to be an awesome project and I can’t wait to see how it develops. I bet your feeling 100% and so you should.
Thanks for hosting the open day Olly, it was great to see the farm, it looks bigger on camera!🤣🤣 It’s great to see the diversity of the farm and how things have evolved while you have been involved in the running of it. It was great the way you had put all the tractor information on each one, to save asking the questions. Georgina was great to talk with and good at making brews, I can’t believe she didn’t give us a lift in from Halifax though!😁 Don’t forget to be an Angry Orange on your next rant!🤣🤣
Gatwick to Chester is 245 miles ish 4 hours Bristol is 157 miles ish. When you have done the 1200 up Olly would be cool if you were able to find a 1250 as well. Great vid mate pleased all went well with your open day hope I'm able to get to one.
AMAZING sunrise with the MF1200 definitely good enough to make the calendar for 2023. Pleased everything went well on your first one open day. And thanks for putting Adam on the Birthday Bumper.👍🏻
Would be amazing to have a little show ground of the old school tractors in the summer going on as we are losing more and more shows by the year! Another great video👍🏼
Hi Olly, just love the sunrise, stunning. So pleased your open day went well. Would love to try and get up to you later on in the year. Grandson down with Covid, so my son is on isolation for 6 days!!! With cattle going out tomorrow?? That may not happen. 65%. Thanks Olly and take care.
Great day Olly, great content, I hope you got something out of it? making people/charities happy can be very rewarding in itself. That sunrise sky was epic...🚜⛅
Great videos Olly. I started watching when you started harvest next year and I’ve nearly watched every video since the start! We’ve just started harvest here in NZ. Fescue today and into ryegrass tomorrow and possibly winter barley. Shame NZ and UK so far apart as would love to come to an open day! Keep up the good work 😀
Feeling 55% today. Looks like you got the weather even if it was cold 🥶 Respect to you and Georgina for putting the open day together. 👏👏👏 (Hope to be able to come to the next one) The MF1200 does sound well 👍
Hey Ollie liked your video today you outdone yourself and if you could give me some information for the next tour as I would be interested in attending thanks David.....
Hello olly just wanted to say even tho I came , just not in the open day , I really enjoyed it and would love to come to future events / meets , especially in the summer and all year round 🚜🤠👍🏻
Cracking video and you'll be getting an obe for services to charity. That photo of the old 1200 and sunset will look cracking as she's done her work and is enjoying retirement. As for percentage today I'm 85% as it's the last shift moving tarmacers onto the M6 tonight, which has been a cracking job for us on the lowloaders..We are in Hull Monday night with Tarmac, plus I've torn a muscle in my shoulder so throwing the chains and ratchets about isn't helping with the pain. Well done for what you do for Charity and I'll try and get on a tour when the weathers better and meet you. Did you go a little red when Georgina gave you a 💋 😉🤣
Not worked on a 1200 for 25 years so forgive me if not up to speed. Steering and aux hydraulic pumps are mounted under the cab between engine and gearbox. Driven by twin vee belts. Check hydraulic oil levels and belt tensions. Pumps can suck air if feed pipes are old, hard or loose. Orbitrol steering valve or steering ram could have an internal leak.
For the 1200 the oil needs changed or a new filter according to dad. Either that or the damfast (?) a steering component. Looking forward to comparing your 1200 restoration to Farmer Phil's!!!
I owned a old 1200 years ago it was well worn and If I remember correctly it steered better in low or high multipower I seem to think it was a pump /hydraulic issue hope this helps Olly
Glad your open day went well Ollie good to see Georgina looking as fit as ever it's been a lovely day today ideal for an open day looks like like everyone enjoyed it hope it goes well tomorrow great achievement passing the 10 Million mark thats fantastic Ollie Eddie
Hi olly Interesting vid as always If you are looking , get a MF 1155 We had a new s reg one for pulling the forager also MF a small 200 and bigger 260 foragers Only 2 wd but 155 hp rubbish on grass but get it on ploughing it would nr pick up the front wheels pulling on drawbar lol And the sound driving threw town i have never herd out like it american made but well worth a look well before its time Keep up the good work Ps would love to no how much it cost you to find out the filters were mucky on the chipper As vid was there any sensors or wire wrong or just took finings to find low fuel flow Hate new tractors hence why gave up contracting to expensive to buy and run
Gearbox oil supplies the steering system, level plug is on the back of the drop box by the 2 drive shafts .
Thanks for the interesting farm tour we traveled from Lincoln
realy enjoyed the open day thank you for the picture and i am messaging on my mums acount

Georgie is looking well! 👌😃 A cracking girl who I’ve worked with in many extreme weather events when she was at RABI. 😬
Me personally would like longer videos. Love the work you do to help others shame there isn't more people like this
Olly - that open day suggestion sounds epic!

Looks like it was a brilliant farm open day Olly - you certainly put the effort in to make it a special time for those that attend. Credit to you!
You need to kit up with a sandblaster, but commercial one, not cheapo one off Amazon!
We got one somewhere
Thanks to you and all your team what a great job it was nice to see a proper working farm, nothing was hidden it looked just how a working farm should look…you all made us welcome and looked after us it was well worth the long trip from Holbeach Lincolnshire will come back again

Feeling 90% today, well done Olly looks like the farm tours went well.
Traveled from Sheffield for the open day, top day out, thanks for organising and nice to be able to relate to the videos having seen it all in reality. 4955 was my favourite, proper beast
Could be the belts loose just behind the engine that’s where the pumps are ,all the best from Norfolk 80%, 🛠👨🔧🚜👍
Thank you very much for today olly really enjoyed seeing the machinery. Think my favourite was the 7710 looks mint for its age, can’t wait to see something blue in the shed.

100%, gave up work at 50 last December and enjoying every minute of it.
What did you do??
An old tractor does not have to be all done up like new to look good, great video 👍 👏
Would be amazing to have a little show ground of the old school tractors in the summer going on as we are losing more and more shows by the year! Another great video👍🏼
looking forward to seeing some tractor restoration going on soon. the 1200 would look good with beckets 1200 next to it .
Looks like you have had a great day.
The 1505 Masseys with the CAT V8 had a Vbelt driven pump for the steering and i think the 1200`s were the same.
Miss today but would love to come to another one.

The picture of the 1200 Massey in its current state would still make a brilliant calendar photo with the sunrise.
1200 be perfect for moving the header trailer around ,may would be good time for open day
Looks like a great day.
75% today. Just one of those days.
At least you had a sun rise, thick fog in Suffolk lasted until lunchtime.
There was thick for in Essex to
Once we had same steering problem on Valtra. Had steering cylinder Chrome topping rubbed of so it leaked in side cylinder
For the 1200 the oil needs changed or a new filter according to dad. Either that or the damfast (?) a steering component. Looking forward to comparing your 1200 restoration to Farmer Phil's!!!
Need to find some one to do it for me 🤣🤣🤣
@@OllyBlogsAgricontractfarmer If yous can repaint a fendt and keep case's in working order a Massey should be no problem 😂. Health to enjoy!
I wish I could of come over today but not had such a good day, 62% today
I owned a old 1200 years ago it was well worn and If I remember correctly it steered better in low or high multipower I seem to think it was a pump /hydraulic issue hope this helps Olly
So glad you had a great day we would definitely be interested in an open day in the future feeling 100% today how about you x

Hi olly
Interesting vid as always
If you are looking , get a MF 1155
We had a new s reg one for pulling the forager also MF a small 200 and bigger 260 foragers
Only 2 wd but 155 hp rubbish on grass but get it on ploughing it would nr pick up the front wheels pulling on drawbar lol
And the sound driving threw town i have never herd out like it american made but well worth a look well before its time
Keep up the good work
Ps would love to no how much it cost you to find out the filters were mucky on the chipper
As vid was there any sensors or wire wrong or just took finings to find low fuel flow
Hate new tractors hence why gave up contracting to expensive to buy and run
Good Vid Olly
Look at cow farmer Dan's comment. He has massey and a 1200 he's told you what to check.
I want come to a harvest one but can I have ago on 1455 for old memories and 7710 with grain trailor on back
🤣🤣🤣
