Jindabyne is a popular holiday destination year-round, especially in winter. This is due to its proximity to major ski resort developments within the Kosciuszko National Park, including Perisher, Thredbo, and Charlotte Pass. Jindabyne is only about 30km or 30” drive from Thredbo or Perisher. It is also popular for summer activities like fishing, water skiing, waterboarding, and mountain biking.
If hiring accommodation right in Thredbo or Perisher is expensive or difficult to book, Jindabyne is your next best choice!
Jindabyne offers a large range of snow-sport rental outlets and accommodation facilities.
Nuggets Crossing is a fantastic little shopping center with plenty of shops, takeaway, bakery, coffee shop, snow gear hire, chemist, restaurants, and boutiques as well as a Woolworths supermarket, a BWS, and an ATM. Parking is easy here.
There are many fantastic snow gear rental shops in Jindabyne with competitive prices. This is our 2nd time renting at the Boss Outdoor Sports. If you book online in advance, you can use the code BOSS10 to get a 10% discount. The staff is friendly and helpful, helping us to choose our best-fitted gear and also giving us some advice around the areas. A petrol station and a convenience store are also on the same site so it’s very convenient and time-saving.
