Not a silly question at all! It's short for lavalier microphone. I love the high quality lo-fi it provides, which is kind of an oxymoron, but yeah :)

I don't know how I missed this comment! Thank you so much. I think some are absolutely beautiful, but some trigger my tripophobia. I think that's the right word, but I'm not sure and I cannot google it because there will be images and NOPE.
What does (lo-fi lav) stand for? Or more so, how does that play out in how it sounds vs a standard recording?
It means it's filmed with my lavalier mic, which gives a more lo-fi result than my H4nPro Zoom mic. There's more white noise, and a less subtle sound, it also cannot record stereo sounds. I hope that answers your question

I don't even have a remotely green thumb. This took a LOT of research. The pronunciation of the terms alone. But I'm so happy with the result and Rachel was too, so that makes it very much worth it :)
