Argenti hold his own in MOC and Jade will do wonders as a sub DPS in MOC as well! However, i yhink the issue is not having a free 5 star erudition lightcone like Destrugtion and Hunt

Both Firefly and Jade will do just some silly things together. With an additional 90 speed and Harmony MC if you get Firefly to about 3k attack and very minimal Break Effect on Gear (assuming new set and planer on her, break rope and the other 5 pieces have BE but no rolls into it) she can hit her 360% to max out her Enhanced skill damage. Then since she can also hit 3 targets at a time (who also take 25% of Jades attack), Jade will do her follow up often and build up her stacks since Firefly is taking so many turns (because again 90 extra speed, 60 from transforming and Jade gives another 30).
I'm gonna be broke next patch, rolling for Ruan Mei because I lose 50/50 last time and I need her with her signature LC (for HTB) in FF team. I would give Ruan Mei DDD. Also I might pull for E1 or E2 FF without her signature LC and slap s5 FOA lc on her.
Firefly and Boothill are basically equal. Firefly is a little bit more comfortable to use due to her being much easier to use but she's stuck with one team (RM, hmc, gallagher) while boothill really can have a bunch of different teams (he really just needs ruan mei)
I pulled Boothill (he's actually e1 bc I got 2 in a single 10-pull) and I'm loving him. He's gonna especially shine in the new gamemode apocalyptic shadow.

do you realize that's not a valid argument at all? boothill still is a break dps and his top tier supports include ruan mei and HMC along with bronya(no, sparkle and asta are not that great with him). and saying a dps only works with one comp is the most braindead take i have ever seen. DHIL and Jingliu only works with hypercarry/crit buffers. Kafka only works in DoT teams. Acheron only works with nihility teammates. FuA dps only works with robin or topaz... kafka, jingliu and acheron overhyped? lmao they are still are great and their comps are some of the best in the game.

I've never managed to pull Seele so now I got "Seele at home" aka Boothill breaking characters 7 times in a row thanks to Sparkle xDD That shit makes me giggle like a shy, japanese highschool girl every time. And to do justice to Kafka, she can be built for breakeffect too; I would say she's quite a versatile character so I don't see how can anyone say she's overrated :( SHE CAN BE SO MUCH MORE than just DoT.

Having trouble with making a secondary team. Ive got every 4 star except luka and guinaifen, SW, bronya, fu xuan, yanqing, jing liu and acheron (+ mc and dr ratio). Team 1 is pela, acheron, SW and fu xuan. Any ideas? Also looking for who to pull for next, heard jing liu and ruan mei make a good pair so thats wot im aiming for rn

Firefly wont be making big damage without HMC and it wont be easy to break bosses without Ruan Mei and her E2 will be useless if you cant kill or break enemies
Why you pointing that out when hmc is literally a free unit. If people don't have ruan mei, they can just add a unit who helps advance forward action (asta, robin, bronya, etc.). This way, ff can still break enemies.

It's gonna depend on the actual numbers (and precise mechanics), but Jade might fit VERY well in a team with the other two Stonehearts, which happens to be what I run. That said, I'm having an awful lot of trouble with Pure Fiction, so Argenti might be a better pick for me.
Jade also buffs speed, but I get what you mean in terms of universal use. I have a feeling they're going to make Pure Fiction harder and harder just like they did with MOC and they will release a character that compliments her in the future similar to Kafka and Black Swan. So for me I'm investing in Jade 😂

Jade is just not worth it.
FF is probably still easier to build. Jade wants spd and crit, while FF only needs spd and BE. One less sub stat to worry about

I am having a difficult time justifying pulling for Boothill when Firefly is so close.
They're almost as equally as good. Imo, FF is just a little bit better because she applies weakness more times than boothill.
