One day this will be me. I’m so over my career as a trucker, but I’m afraid that it will remain a dream. Due to the fact I’m 25 live alone, and have to maintain full time employment which seems impossible while in a nursing program. And I don’t have family to move with in the meantime. It sucks but it’s worth a try. Currently doing my pre reqs and general Ed’s who know. All I can do is trust god. God bless you

You can totally do it! There are other routes than the one I took. You could even do a 2 year program for your RN license, while working on the side for income and then go back for your BSN, while you work bedside nursing. It would be a really hard couple of years, but then it'd be done and would be so worth it. There there is just so much room for growth in nursing and we always need more nurses!

@@BrittaniNP I really appreciate the motivation. Thanks so much. I love your vids I watch them everyday while I’m driving down the road. Makes my shift go by. Thanks for doing what you do.

Hey Brittani! I really enjoy your channel and it’s very helpful. I am an ICU float nurse in the Cincinnati area and I have been trying to figure out if I want to go the NP route or try for CRNA. Still not sure about it. Haha. I have been an critical care nurse since March of 2020(I finished my new nurse orientation the week before covid hit here). If I do go the NP route I am really interested in urgent care so I have enjoyed your videos about your day as an urgent care NP. The pay is a big thing that is hard for me though because as a float RN I made over $140k while still averaging 38hrs per week for the whole year working. Are there still ways to pick up and work overtime and get bonuses as an NP? I just don’t want to get through the schooling and then have trouble providing for my family and make significantly less. Sorry for the long post.
