@@falconofthenight008 I made Ash a dodge tank and gave the master quartz that Kurt starts with, the one that increases crit damage by 400% along with the quartz that makes dodge counters a guaranteed crit. Stacked with evade quartz and gear, and just laughed at bosses that killed themselves with melee attacks.
In my playthrough (in the final dungeon) I gave Rean the master quatz that increases crit damage, along with the minotaur master quartz that increases damage of attacks and crafts, then threw as many crit quartz and the S rank medal that grants 10 CP a turn and crit, and the best Tachi (made by Professor Schmidt.) Combined with spirit unification and the delay that minotaur gives, by the time Rean's turn came up I had enough CP for some of his strongest CP abilities. In some cases I could two shot the break bar with a single arcane gale on stronger enemies, while removing more than half of boss break bars. Sledgehammer formation helped out too. I struggled with the Steel Maiden at the fort but blitzed past her and Mcburn easily on Rean alone at this point.
@@falconofthenight008 Kurt was my dodge tank for a little bit, but some enemies had more range and Kurt couldn't reach them when he dodged. Ash could. In my next playthrough I think I will try making Juna my dodge tank while in gunner form. It could work.
On the other hand Crow's voice actor is far too energetic and acting way too much like his old self. While his Japanese VA acts the part and keeps his voice more tonally neutral really selling the subdued personality and apparent lack of memories.
After hearing both versions of the Azure Siegfried scene, I definitely prefer Sean Chiplock's version of Rean. The deeper tone of voice just sounds cooler. Kiseki is pretty big on the gentle voiced male leads (Joshua, Lloyd), so I think I'm just happy to hear that the English version tries something different.
@@FieryShaverdian I only noticed on hearing the S-Crafts that Crow's voice sounded deeper when he used "Cross Rebellion" as Azure Siegfried, as opposed to...Crow, who sounded more like himself when using Cross Rebellion in CSIV (Probably because he regained his memories at that point, and knew his true identity again)

Because he said not to expect any interest, despite being an amnesiac?

did an evasion crit build, lil tough for rean but so much fun because these 1v1s become a bit of a joke when you get the crit counters

Just finished this part last night. Is Azure Siegfried automatically scanned? I thought I forgot to scan him but no detail was missing.
There's quartz that auto scans enemies during battle.

Sean Chiplock is more subdued compared to Kouki Uchiyama.......to be sincere it's far from bad actually.
