It definitely helps to see justice after seeing so many streets vendors being harassed, killed and mistreated. And what lucky said is very true. Thanks to Alex I can’t go to any taco stand and not speak up when I see injustice. It just happened the other day. I yelled at a guy because he was talking to the vendor in a very demeaning way, and I couldn’t sit there and not say anything. So what I did was stand up and speak to him and demanded that he respected the vendors. He wanted me to back down, but I wasn’t having it. Growing up I saw a lot of this in LA. I saw cops flipping karts over and feeling like I couldn’t do anything. Many times I cried myself home seeing these vendors being treated this way. And it sucks that we feel that we can’t do anything. When the answer has been with us all along. And Thanks to Alex and Wendy for standing up, and actually doing something about the situation. I watched the live, they initially approached her only because she was recording the cops with a knee on Alex back and she was telling them to get the knee off him. So in retaliation they were trying to find whatever they could on her and that was their ticket right there so they booked her even though she was not involved in the initial altercation. When Alex went live after her arrest, he totally said why they arrested her. I've never heard Alex lie or embellish once for his own benefit or agenda. Very few like him.
