In verse 12, the NIV says we may approach God with “confidence”. I think perhaps the opposite of boldly would be hesitantly. The study notes in my Bible for verse 18 are so good. God‘s love is wide. It reaches out to the whole world. God‘s love is long. It continues the length of our lives. God‘s love is high. It rises to the heights of our celebration and elation. His love is deep. It reaches to the depths of discouragement, despair, and even death. Also, in verse 20, the NIV uses “immeasurably more.“ 🙂
