I love the pride they have in what they are doing. Good job Kentucky.
I am from KY and proud to see our state represented well with great trails!
This is definitely up there as one of the best of the series so far.
Incredible trails!! Who knew. Way to steal the 50 State Shred Show, KY!!!!!
Those look like some of the best trails yet on the state shred !! Nice work Brian.
My hometown trails! I’ve been looking forward to seeing what you had to say about these trails. I’m glad you liked them.
Super fun to see you tearing it up at Sugarcamp Mountain.
This is the first time I’ve seen my hometown on anything ever and I couldn’t be more proud
You make things look so easy Brian! 😳 You have a lot of skill for sure. Took the 3 hour drive down from Indiana to check this place out and it was beautiful but wampus cat was insane! That 7’ to 8’ drop is crazy and the videos just make it look so easy. We did not ride back down after hiking up. 😂. Thanks again for what you do and this one video has really hyped up this trail system. I think it’s a great thing. They need more traffic on these trails and tourists in the area and you are helping to do just that with this video.
I’m from Kentucky and your videos have gotten me into biking
This is beautiful! I want to ride this place now!
...if only there was a solution to dead derailleur batteries...perhaps mechanical control using a thin braided wire rope inside a self-lubricating housing. Think I might file a patent application on that!
Anyway, props to KY for being the sleeper in the 50:state shred!
Sugarcamp is a awesome trail network. Those guys have been killing it. Worth the drive for sure
Kentucky is officially in the lead.
Watching this because I might be moving there glad to see this because I'm spoiled in southwestern Pa right now. And Feathered Indians is one of my favorite songs so win win
What part of southwest PA?? I am on my way back to Kentucky from Beaver County near Pittsburgh
Every one should have a trail like that near there home. AWESOME.
I usually ride the bluegrass area but I might have to try these trails
My favorite trail system by far. And my favorite video so far
Very cool dude! I’m a KY native and have been eye balling Sugarcmap for a couple years now. 3.5 hours away from me here in Louisville. This video was great. Just put it on my calendar for next month. Thanks for stopping by!
What’s the odds that i’m drinking and Ale81 at the moment watching this😂 A true ky soft drink, the best.
i watch one full video before I sleep !
I still come back to the 50 state shred. This and the BCBR series are my two favorite.
I’m a local from a neighboring county! Definitely an awesome trail for the very few around, there’s always people from all over that are there, and the campground has a great environment! But awesome video! Keep it up just subbed
Sugarcamp looks AWESOME!! I need to go there 😲
Thanks for visiting Eastern Kentucky. I was raised on Dewey lake and Jenny Wiley state park. Brought back great memories of the old sky lift and we spent almost every summer in that camp ground in our VW van and mini camper. Keep traveling on, great stuff.😍👍
My home state! Looks like I need to get back to ride Sugarcamp!!
Arkansas has so much more than just Bentonville and the Northwest area. Hot Springs and Mt. Nebo are pretty good too.
I live in Lexington, and have been following BKXC for about 4 years! I absolutely love seeing how stoked you are to ride Kentucky trails and that these systems are developing and getting the recognition they deserve. The economic stimulus of the MTB industry and community can’t be understated in these small towns! Hope to have my hand in the trail building efforts of the Daniel Boone National Forrest soon enough ! Thanks Brian!!!
I'll be stickin' around for sure. Great trails, nice shreddin'...
Good one, Bryan! Kudos to the trail builders. Thanks for taking us along. Stay safe, brother.
Absolutely love Sugar Camp thank you so much for putting this on the map
Great video, love the history lessons as well. Thanks, safe travels!
impressed with the trails and how the underbrush is so well maintained.
I've been waiting for you to make it to Kentucky! Love you videos!
So excited you enjoyed your time here in Ky!
We are in Louisville and the riding here in Kentucky is absolutely amazing all over the state. There are unbelievable hand cut and machine cut trail systems everywhere. We have a half dozen in our county alone. Lots of technical single track and Ale-8 for everyone... come ride KY.
Beautiful views on this one. Forests on steep slopes look awesome.
Wow! What a beautiful trail! And the check list keeps growing.
Outstanding work, Kentucky and a great edit @bkxc!! 🤘🏻
Nice place with some blue trails and i live in NC so maybe i will be checking that place out? I am taking 5 days off soon----I like that '9 toe' trail
Its awesome that you're in the east right now, sending love from Pittsburgh, PA. Your Frick Park video was gnarly!
Great pick in Kentucky B this one is beautiful.Keep up the great work and the positive energy we really enjoy it !
Hi Brian. Incredible video. The best travel trails so far. In my opinion. Thank you for sharing. Hug.
Wow Kentucky great job! Really love the giant rocks to the left that you go past. Great trails. Nice skinny. Trail builders you are awesome!
Love those rock formations. Don't love ticks. It's been so dry out in Colorado that it was a joy to see all the greenery. So nice.
Well done Kentucky! Those trails look awesome! And I love Tyler Childress.
Kentucky has some really great off-road stuff, beautiful area, it's been a few years since I've been up that way. might need to go back soon.
Wow those were some cool trails shot out to those guys and gals for putting in the work. Brian I’m going to binge watch all your videos today the smoke here in WA has slowed our outdoor activities 🥵
So glad you decided on this place and hope the tics weren't too bad. The pride I feel just about some trails in my state that I'm not even part of is weird but awesome. Way to show up Kentucky and I can't wait to get down there again, with a shuttle of course : )
Nice video and good representation of Kentucky. I was stationed there in 1986 and 1987 and absolutely love that state (especially the ladies)!
Awesome Brian! I'm Kentucky born. Grew up on Ale8 and went to high school with the Mingua Brothers (beef jerky) at Bourbon County High School. Just did a road century this past Saturday in Maysville, KY. Awesome, lightly traveled roads with some pretty good hills and rollers. Ended up with 6500+ vertical feet of climbing in 101 miles. Beautiful historic towns in/around Maysville. Great stuff Kentucky!
That looks amazing!! All that side hilling looks fun!
Loved this Video Brian (now in my top BKXC 5)- in stage 4 Covid lockdown in Melbourne Australia where we can’t ride further than 5km from our front door - Kentucky trails kept me motivated for one more day. Keep up the great work. 👍
Dude! b4 you said about it being named after Tyler i was like I know that name. I have been listening to tyler for years! Great vid! Bonus points for knowing that!
Happy to see you enjoyed KY, a hidden gem of a state all around. Can't wait to see what you think about Indiana.
Drove there from Cincy to ride it for first time the weekend after you were there. Was bummed to miss you by a week, but a friend did get to meet you while you were there. Sugarcamp was super awesome!! Camera effect really does hide the intensity of those trails 🤘
@Stable Genius {Jihad} I've ridden Tower a few times, yes. Pretty sweet trails, but not my go-to with so many other local options. Devou is definitely the most popular and a lot of fun. Colorado must be like mtb heaven
Yay! My state! I love hiking and road cycling around KY, and am starting to get in to MTB.
Such great riding! Made it into my top five of your 50 states shred. How 22 people can give this the thumb down is beyond me.
Awesome job Brian 👏 👍 this is my home state and I'm a builder in the Cave Run area , and your right thise guys are doing an awesome Job at sugarcamp! I hope other areas in Kentucky get the hint ! So much potential here!
Wow, those are some beautiful trails!
So refreshing as always, thx man
Those trails looked like so much fun, great job!
And by the way, the music at the end of your videos, it really suits you and your type of videos, I actually look forward to it everytime..
Great terrain and great trails! Kudos to Kentucky! BTW, nice hat Brian! (Go Blue!)
This looks awesome! Can’t wait for the Brown County video 🤙🏼
Damn, it's so great for folks to see the type of riding we have ALL OVER my state. It's a great little secret in the MTB world. While we don't have the elevation for super long DH's, there is some of the best singletrack I have ever ridden all over the state. It definitely has it's own unique trail style with A LOT of ups and downs, and "ridge riding". Not to mention, it can be quite technical. Thanks for the great video!! This trail system is now on the list... Cheers!!
Really scenic. I'd ride it slow so I could take in all of the surroundings. Great video!
Awesome so proud of my state. I would love to build something like this in Western KY.
Nice man, I am enjoying my breakfast while watching your video 😁☝️
Been watching your videos for some time and I can't say enough good about them. Your attitude, appreciation, determination and fun spirit always show through. A great representative of Mountain Bikers in my opinion. I always look to your channel to "preview" our upcoming rides and rides we need to experience. Heading to Fruita and Moab next week and have been scouting lines on your videos. Can't wait. When is Wisconsin (surely soon given where you are) are you going to Hayward/Cable?
Favorite so far looks like a great place!
Damn that was sick. KY MTB looks legit AF. Nice job guys.
man I love this rail so much !!!
Just finished watching Justified and was thinking KY probably had some potential for sick MTB, glad to see it's happening and will definitely try and ride if I'm ever passing through the area!
Awesome trail !!!!!
Getting better with the jumps 👍
big fan, keep up the great videos
That was some fun looking tracks.
I think these Kentucky trails look the best out of what you've ridden so far
Thanks for letting me know about opossums eating ticks. Just another reason to appreciate those freaky-looking animals.
Just gorgeous. So different from where I live in Colorado, where it's dry and brown.
I have loved to watch this awesome series so sick
Dang, what a trail showing!
Damn !
Note to self … #RideKentucky
Yah boys looks like a blast
Love sugarcamp! Place is so fun!
This is the best series on UA-cam. Great stuff Brian.
Those were some sick looking trails. So many rock rolls and serious sketch. Terrifying to me!
Another sweet vid!
Cool! Nice video!
Top of the list Brian...for sure.
Man I gotta make the hour drive down there sometime and hit this trail network. Love my home trails in Barboursville but I gotta get out more to these nearby gems
Watched back home in Winnipeg 😭 can't wait to them states south of Manitoba 😃
Hell yeah Ale81 (A late one) is the best! That track looks fantastic. I might have to pass through on the way back home to see the folks.
One of your best rides in the USA.
Don’t feel bad if you didn’t like the ale8. Hate the stuff and I’m from Winchester
These trails look so damn fun
My kind of place!
I've been to Sugar Camp several times and I can honestly say everyone there involved with the trail system have worked their butts off to make something special. During one visit the mayor and his wife were running FREE shuttles for for hours on a Sunday. Everyone should hit Lizzy Bs while they're there too.
