- Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique 2019! Frozen 2 Dresses! This was our 3rd visit to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, but our first at Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom. See our full comparison of the two locations towards the bottom. Our other two Disney Princess makeover days were at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Disney Springs. Our Disney Vlog starts with a quick Magic Kingdom walkthrough for our 11am appointment. You can chose from a variety of different packages ranging from $74.95 for The Crown Package, up to $450 for The Princess Signature Dress Collection. For our Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique 2019 visit, we choose the new Frozen 2 Travel Package and The Castle Package. Anya chose the Frozen 2 Elsa Dress, and Mya chose a Tangled Rapunzel dress.
The Disney Frozen 2 Travel Package includes:
Anna or Elsa hairstyling with braided hairpiece
Anna or Elsa travel costume
Sparkling snowflake hair accessories
Shimmering makeup and face gem
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique princess sash and cinch sack
Nail polish
Huggable Olaf plush toy
The Castle Package includes:
Hairstyling
Shimmering makeup and face gem
Princess sash and cinch sack
Nail polish
Disney Princess gown of your choice (shoes not included)
Additional coordinating accessories
This Disney Princess Makeover is available for ages 3-12 at Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and Disney Springs.
So which experience was better; Bibbidi Bobbidi Disney Springs or Bibbidi Bobbidi Walt Disney World?
Our vote is for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Disney Springs! It is much easier to get reservation and to get in and out of. We found it very difficult to get a reservation at Magic Kingdom. The Disney Springs location is newer, so it felt a little more updated. We felt a little rushed at Magic Kingdom as they had one cast member doing hair while another was doing nails and make-up. At Disney Springs, we had just one cast member do everything so it was a little slower and more relaxed. The Disney Princess dress area was much better at Magic Kingdom. It was much larger and spaced out. At Disney Springs, they have one closet in a tight waiting area that you can look through. For the price of the Bibbidi Bobbidi visit, we were a little upset about two things. One is that they did not have the Queen Elsa Frozen 2 dress in the size we needed. We were set on getting the Elsa costume, so we had to go a size up. Disney should have all sizes stocked. Second was that our youngest wanted a flower headband in pink and purple flowers, but they had run out and only pink was available. Not a big deal, but for the price you are paying, everything should be in stock. At Magic Kingdom, you are already at the Disney park and can enjoy your rides, restaurants, and get some great pictures. There is plenty to do at Disney Springs, but if your plan was to get the Disney princess makeover for the parks, you still need to drive or take a bus over there. Finally, the picture backdrop at Disney Springs is beautiful. Pictures are taken in front of a giant Cinderella carriage backdrop. The backdrops at Magic Kingdom were not as impressive. You can't go wrong either way as both experiences were amazing, but we definitely enjoyed our Disney Springs experience a bit more.

I love how, at the very end, the boutique employee asked "High five or hugs?". Such a smart idea! I work with kids and I'm totally going to steal that. BTW, your children are the cutest things ever. I can't wait to have my own daughters so I can drag them to disneyland lol.

I really like that. I think people force their kids into that physical contact too much, and many times the kids are not comfortable.

Very cute! Fun fact when they were looking through your daughter's hair when she was talking about how curly her hair was, they are actually looking for lice. They do it for everyone which is a good thing. Just a fun fact lol

The Magic Kingdom location looks beautiful and so do Anya and Mya! I got the new Frozen 2 dresses too at the Disney Store and they are beautiful they have so much detail on them! I’ve done the boutique twice both times at Disney Springs and they were great. The first time was a little better though because the second time I went I wanted to do the Deluxe Castle Package with the Belle dress, but my size was out of stock so we ended up getting the signature Belle dress. It’s a beautiful dress but not exactly what I wanted. They are great there and take their time to talk to me while getting my hair done. I did not feel rushed at all. I would like to go to the Magic Kingdom location someday or the new Grand Floridian one. I hear that one is easy to get into as well. Loved the video it was helpful to see what the inside of the boutique in the park looked like. Hope you have a great day!

Happiness and Sweet Tea I think because they had an event that night there was not many people at the parks. Need to keep that in mind for our future visits. We got on so many rides that day!

Legit just finished watching a video of Once upon a Bron get ready for work at the boutique and this was the next video suggestion xD
I too recently watched Once Upon A Bron's video of getting ready to work there, and also was like, "Oh! That's Bron! Cool." when she was helping your daughter with her makeup. Her video led me to this and another video of another girl going to the Grand Floridian's (I think?) on her birthday. I can totally see why this position would be incredibly rewarding and always magical for both the cast members and the children partaking in the experience. Can adults get the hair treatment there? Obviously we can't wear the costumes but... (only half kidding about the hair treatment)
Karen Porter she was great with our daughter! The age limit is 12 😞 You’re not the first person to mention that. Disney is really missing out on a whole other market. I think someone said one of the Disney hotels has a salon that does hair and makeup. Closest you can get for now.

I'm unsure if you would be comfortable sharing this but how much would you say this whole Disney world trip cost? Going to Disney World is a dream I wish to make come true for my daughter someday but I greatly fear it is far out of my budget.
Tiffany Moses many factors would come into play. Are you local or flying in? Going for the day, or staying the week? Inexpensive hotel, or Disney hotel? We usually save up gift cards from birthdays and Christmas to help with the cost. For example, this experience was all paid for with gift cards and we have annual passes to the Disney Parks. You can also do Bibbidi at Disney Springs which is free to park and walk around.
@@HeartFamilyAdventures I'm not local and sadly have no family gifting us gift cards...no family really giving us anything. It'd be up to me. I would want to stay at a disney hotel but it wouldnt have to be super nice just one where it includes a ride to the park, maybe 3 days 4 nights, food, plane tickets, etc. I will end up having to do the math. Thank you though!
What’s the sizing on the dresses? I’m worried they won’t make one big enough for my daughter.
Hey You I haven't gotten this done in over ten years, 2008 is when I got it done being 6 and all, but most of the costume dresses go from 2/3 years old up to 8(?) I think it's rare to find a 14/16 size. I'd check up online to see if they carry the size of the character's dresses she'd like. If not, I'd try looking to see if you could order one online from Amazon or something like that, (obviously prices and expectations are complicated). Best of luck! Hey You also, they offer a hair, nails, and make-up package without the dress which is significantly less expensive. We went to Disney Springs Bibbidi before in our own dresses.
