  • guide you through the best ways to move between terminals at Haneda Airport, which is especially helpful if you're traveling through Japan with connecting flights.
    Haneda Airport Terminals Overview:
Terminal 1 & 2: Primarily for domestic flights.
    Terminal 3: Handles international flights.
    Transportation Options:
Free Shuttle Bus: While convenient and cost-free, it’s important to note that this option can become very crowded.
Keikyu Railway: Offers a direct connection to each terminal and provides a less crowded alternative to the shuttle bus, connecting Haneda directly with downtown Tokyo. Though it is a paid service, the short distance between terminals costs only about 150 yen (approximately 1 dollar), making it both affordable and efficient.
    Step-by-Step Guide:
Starting from the second-floor Arrival Lobby of Terminal 3, I’ll show you how to smoothly transition to Terminal 2 using the Keikyu Line.
It takes about 5-10 minutes to travel between the terminals on the Keikyu Line.
We'll also walk from the Keikyu Line’s station to the departure lobby of Terminal 2, which should take about 4-5 minutes.
    Why Keikyu Line?
The Keikyu Line not only saves you from the hassle of crowded buses but also provides a quick and straightforward route directly linking Terminals 1 and 2. Depending on where you need to go, simply choose your boarding point accordingly to ease your terminal transfer.
    Closing Thoughts:
As Haneda Airport continues to welcome an increasing number of international visitors, understanding your transport options becomes more crucial. I recommend the Keikyu Line for a stress-free transfer, especially useful during busy periods.

Thank you for your informative video. We’re landing from the USA on JAL at Haneda Airport Terminal 3 but need to go to Terminal 1 to Sapporo. I understand that we need to go through foreign arrivals and clear immigration and customs then pickup our luggage. My question is do we just bring our luggage out of the arrivals area and I heard there’s a JAL luggage drop off area? I saw other videos and saw a JAL domestic check in outside of arrivals. Is this where we drop off our luggage to go to Sapporo?

Yes, After you arrive at Terminal 3 and go through immigration and customs, you will pick up your luggage. Once you have your luggage, there is indeed a JAL domestic luggage drop-off area outside the arrivals hall.

Hello, thank you for your great videos, we are arriving from Sydney Australia and overnighting at the Royal Park Hyatt, then heading to Sapporo via T1. Clearly it is so much more comfortable to do the Keikyu Line service rather than waiting for a bus. Can you please tell me how we can pay to use the Keikyu Line? Does it take a credit card or do we need to purchase a ticket at a counter or machine, lastly are those machines in english. Many thanks.

hi, thank you for the Feedback!
The Keikyu Line's ticket machines do accept credit cards, and they also have an English menu available. If you can't find the English menu, just ask the staff at the ticket booth. They are always there to help. 👍

@@slyellow2travels The desk is call “Domestic flight transfer counter”. And next to it there is a large luggage inspecting point. Are you sure I have to take all my luggage to terminal 1 or 2 to check in domestic flight transfer?
What are those desks for then at terminal 3?

@@shdmd2118 OK, I've never used it myselft, But from the information, the "Domestic flight transfer counter" at Haneda Airport allows you to re-check your baggage after immigration and customs in Terminal 3.
and Then, you can take a shuttle bus to Terminal 1 or 2 for your domestic flight.
