- Carpathian Mountains is a range of mountains stretching across Eastern and Central Europe. Part of the Carpathian range is located in Western Ukraine.
In this video you will see the waterfall 'Huk" located in Tatariv village, Carpathian mountains.
The departing point is Ivano-Frankivsk, and takes about two hours to get to Tatariv. Once you get to Tatariv you will have to walk to the waterfall 5 km, which takes about 40 minutes. The road to the waterfall is absolutely refreshing and amazing.
Waterfall Huk is one of the most convenient for tourists Carpathian waterfalls, because the road is very easy, moreover paved.
Zhenetsky Huk Waterfall, which is full name of the waterfall is located on the Zhenets tract, which flows into the Prut River.
Zhenetsky Huk waterfall is located at an altitude of 900 m above sea level, formed in the postwar years as a result of floods. The water falls freely from the mountain from a height of 15 m. Locals named the waterfall Hook because of the noise, the rumble coming from it.
