I like how Tank detailed how Gary Goodridge went above and beyond to actually prepare for the fight, and Paul himself admitting that his preparation for the fight was poor, and Tank says Gary's victory, that he prepared for, was good luck. Using Tank's logic, what victory against an opponent that you've trained for isn't luck? And for what it's worth, Paul didn't attempt a high crotch in that fight that ultimately led to Gary's crucifix. Paul shot in for a single leg, Gary sprawled and isolated Paul's left arm with both his arms and them trapped Paul's right arm with his legs to subdue him before he unloaded with the elbows. I just watched it. Gary doesn't have the most appealing record in MMA, but given his size, brute power, tenacity, and passion for competition, he wasn't a fighter to take lightly. There was nothing lucky about that infamous victory.
Paul went for a fireman's carry which I've rarely seen pulled off in MMA, Goodridge doesn't have the best record but the man was a genetic freak. I really enjoyed his Kickboxing career.
lol excuses , wouldn't have mattered how hard he trained. He went for the fireman's carry and that was the result, end of. How would training any harder have stopped Gary from doing what he did? @@indianna.777
Gary Goodridge wasa beast, wasn't the most skilled but a powerful genetic freak. He has wins over two Professional Wrestlers turned Shoot Fighters in Sylvester Terkay and Sean O'Haire.
Paul Herrera got completely owned in that fight against Gary Goodridge.
Poor tito catching strays lol
Ain't no way he was beating Tito...lol

You are taking literally what shouldn’t be taken literally. Of course it’s no luck. He trained, and Paul didn’t train at all.
