Just discovered this guy and I love his chords and melody’s they are perfectly written for Trance music. They’re not classical and they don’t change too much, the repetition with slight changes are just beautiful and in keeping with the overall feeling and story. I’m a Trance music lover and this is very close in style 🙏 New fan!

En el '99 tuve la fortuna de disfrutar de un concierto de Wim Mertens en el Teatro de la República en Querétaro y aunque muchos de sus temas los conocía, me impactó mucho el manejo que hace de su voz, muy original. Gran Concierto !! Saludos.

I still love the Draughtman's Contract. He had a bigger budget for The Belly of an Architect and it was feast for the senses with its gorgeous Roman scenes accompanied by Merten's music. But for wit, script and plot I think he never bettered his first movie. His movies became more and more bombastic as he went on - those movies were a lot of fun - but the craft in the first was special.
