- Round 2 on this classic. I always have felt bad that I really failed to get this climb on film, especially considering how much it's sought after. 1000' of 5.7-5.8 climbing. If this is just below your limit, this climb would be an absolute blast.

Had an epic on this shit. Dislocated my shoulder top of pitch four on the raps trying to get our rope unstuck on a chicken head. My boy lowered me (shoulder out) the 4 pitches down and then neither of us knew how to reduce a shoulder so we booted out through juniper, as I screamed in pain every step. I def wanna do it again tho and maybe dislocate my other one.
One of my favorite climbs at Red Rock! Ive done it about 15 times.
Phenomenal climb for the grade. Definitely worth the hike (and the day)
Maybe the bail biner was someone only brought a 70, and couldn't make it down in 1 rap. They had a fun time rapping off one bolt I bet.

We rapped CC with a 70 and it kinda sucked. Maybe the 3rd rap from the top was short by a few feet, and the last rap required a little downclimbing.
Curious about the 80M vs. 70M comment. If your were only halfway on an 80M, should you have plenty left over with a 70M as well?
Probably in reference to rappelling with the 70 and making it to the ground

@@richardnixon5492 yeah, guessing the ends of their 70m didn't reach the ground so they added an intermediate rappel. Too early on a moderate first pitch to be bailing
