Whoa! The Great Giana Sisters played by a symphonic orchestra. I did not know that something like this existed. I was totally blown away.
This soundtrack is so underrated, every song of this game is really amazing.
Chris Huelsbeck the king of video game music. Amiga forever.
Non era per Amiga ma per 64
bro .. the real version was the C64 version! the amiga version sucked ass ... but still its amiga forever! ;)
JUST a BEATIFUL!!!!! I was 4 when I watched my parents playing Giana from my bed :'( I will cry now :/
Chris Hülsbeck... the Hans Zimmer of the 8bit Music! Love it!!!
one of the greatest video game themes of all time. absolute classic.
i am crying for no reason, this is sooo wonderful
the reason would be huelsbeck's genius. i think when he composed it he "heard" it like that. thats why its so great even on mono sid. (i love the sid sound, but its not exactly polyphonic ;) )
I remember this song when I played the game in the Commodore 64. One of my all times favorite game's theme.
genial!
Geilgeilgeil!!
Chris Hülsbeck & Michael Land - für mich die Götter der Computermusik!
This song is the best song that has ever been in a video game.
COMMODORE FOREVER!
Best performance ever!
GOOSEBUMPS all along. That's it.
awesome game .......awesome Music as well and I love it so much....since i was a little boy and played the game on the Commodore 64 !
thank you Chris Hülsbeck !!!
ever tried the new one? it got awesome tunes too =)
Wait, did you have a legitimate copy, and do you still have it? If you do, it's really rare, so hold onto it!
Great Music.. Great Game.. Great Times.. C64..
So many childhood memories brought to life by this. Fantastic rendition of an awesome original. Great job.
Mein Respekt an alle beteiligten künstler!
I have tears in my eyes!
Why would anyone give this a thumbs down. Absolutely brilliant.
Juste great - who would have ever thought that a game's music one day would be played by a big orchestra, being adapted to a symphony. Back in the 80's, game's music was never considered becoming cultural heritage at all! - This adaption strongly reminds me of Antonín Dvořaks Symphony No. 9 "Aus der neuen Welt", pretty much the same overall style. Really great - and it shows that music that might well survive centurys can still be created today!
i love the fact that you can actually see the concert.
something of a dream a decade ago.
Today the Video Games,Cars,Music everything has no soul!I need a Time Machine
The sound of my life...i could cry...
This is FUCKING ACE! Chris Huelsbeck is an amazing video game musician. Apidya is my favourite music, so many memories.
Ye gods I wish I had been there! How magnificent! Damn! Goosebumps!
there are no words to describe what sensations make me feel listening this version of the giana *.*

Absolutely beautiful, the most memorable game themes of all time and just perfect orchestation!

You got it! - store.steampowered.com/app/350770/Giana_Sisters_2D/
Oh and 3D for PS4 - ua-cam.com/video/N-NEwXzmBpM/v-deo.html
They, uh, got one a few years back. With an expansion. Look for "Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams".
Now this is quite well done. I love symphonic interpretations of lovely video game pieces. Whoever did the arrangement really has a great ear for the translation from bloops and bleeps to what I'm hearing now. Thanks for sharing this!
Respekt an Jonne Valtonen! :O)
Damn, I remember ... I totally liked the tune (the first 1:50 of this video) and kept the intro rolling, like, forever ... I'm very happy to see that things like this are not forgotten :)
c64 music lends itself so beautifully to symphonic orchestras :)
heard this live 2004 in Leipzig, it sounded a little bit different, still awesome.

Awesome! I give it 11/10. Props for Chris Huelsbeck. The tunes from Giana Sisters are timeless.
das rührt mich zu tränen !
A true tribute to the man himself. Cheers Chris!
I was there :-)
The first concert, not the second played directly after the first one. I remember that the conductor had to stop us from cheering because they had to perform the same concert again :-)
I would have loved to be there...
Genius! So many memories, so few words.
WOW !! this is what music is for !! pure emotion !!

The beginning is just epic!
Grandios!
I've still got the game and my Amiga 1200 in my wardrobe :)
Those memories..... playing GS with my brother when we were young on a C64 with a Tape player :D
I don't know. I can't even imagine. This is outstanding.

Beautiful!
awesome, can't believe someone did this!
It´s so beautiful that i cried..
Some Demoscene Trivia: The orchestration was done by Jonne Valtonen, which some of you might know as "Purple Motion", one member of Future Crew.
This is like a stitch back in time, with better sound.
Great video, 10/10 stars!
C64 das waren noch Zeiten :)
Absolutly perrrrrrfect! Intro - ingame everything! I remeber like it was yesterday - or was it? Hats off!
a website titled "i bet you can't do this on a SID".... Chris Huelsbeck can... :-) awesome! good work
Wow this is realy cool. Loved that game and the theme song when I was a kid... I think I still do ;)
absolutely stunned by the transfer...very well done..bravo
Die Stelle ab 1:24 ist einfach nur episch!
Beautiful. Nostalgic and amazing.
the feels, the feels
Nette Idee, wo gibts sowas schon?
:D super!
Thank you. Heartwarming ❤️

Excellent - or rather completely perfect transcription to orchestra of Huelsbeck's SID tune! - awesome score work!

Home sweet home... I found you! :)
I second that!
epic!
Whoa.. Chilling :D
To me, Hülsbeck is the Mozart of the C-64 Universe.
