I would say she did it for both,but does it really matter? All that matters is that she did it. Polynesians are very proud and I can see where some people would say she did it for Hawaii because like samoans and tongans that play in the states, they still represent their island home. Congrats to her for choosing a school and thriving to the fullest there. Hawaii is definitely proud of her.

Your reading comprehension needs some brushing up lol. Never did I say it mattered only that I can see why people would assume she did it for Hawaii. So where in that context did I mentioned it mattered? I went on to say that no matter what,she choose a school and thrived there and that Hawaii is proud of her and I'm sure Oklahoma is as well. Again, where did I say it mattered?
She just gave Hawaii a shout out. She is a Sooner through and through for life, that’s a no brainer, but she wanted to let us know that she did not forget about us, her home state, her roots.
