ananth Sridevi once the article is done it'll stay for 24 hours not more than that. There's an alternative to increase the life span of the leaves, we need to keep the leaves for 2-3hrs in cold tap water before making the article. This would help a bit to extend the life span of the article

Very nice artistic way of decoration ! One question comes to my mind. How do you dispose off the decorative piece? If it goes to garbage and left in open , in India it is very very common that cows and goats would eat from that garbage pile. What happens to those staples used in making this art piece? Poor animal eating these leaves must be paying heavily ! I would suggest using some other means to keep holding each other leaves.
