Please could you do a video to show how you made your poker table. I’ve seen many videos but without your setup like the raised rail and I could guarantee that your explanation would be easy to follow. Love the videos 🤙🏼
They sell the blanks so personalized inner decals can be custom made for personalization. This also means they can be changed every couple of seasons to "stay ahead of the curve" if necessary.
As a poker tournament host I am always interested is seeing someone else's set up. I believe you can always learn something to improve on the game you host. Looking forward to seeing your upcoming videos about your tournament

So, the chips of minimum value up to those of average value (from 25 cents to 20 or 25 dollars) are for the cash game and those of average value up to those of maximum value (from 25 dollars to 25000 dollars) only for the tournament?
@@One2ManyHobbies Ok, now I get it, but if I remember that in some tournaments where there were, as we said, chips ranging from average value to those of maximum value, they also used the five dollar ones (the red ones), which apparently were that category of chips ranging from the minimum value to those of average value.

Maybe I forgot to tell you that in tournaments some tables use those chips, but I'm not saying that I don't understand that you use them for cash games.

I sourced material all over the internet - Legs are Gorilla Gaming legs and I email Apache Poker, they told me local suppliers who would print new labels. Good luck.
I hosted games on and off over the past 20 or so years and that simple addition of a $20 chip will save you more headaches than anyone would ever believe. I know guys who will give bonus chips in a tournament for simply having correct change at buy in. That's how ridiculous it can get.

Where were you able to get custom labels? I’ve been looking for those for a while because I want the Monaco casino chips but I don’t like the 25cents chip color and would like to change one of the other chip colors to 25cents but can’t find a place that sells the labels.

When you play, do you alternate who deals? If so, how do you facilitate the flow so it’s not a whole shuffle each round. Do you alternate decks with the next person? Do they shuffle just in between?
Same, my red $5 are tight - the chips have different thicknesses which kinda stinks. Mine all fit, just the $5's are tight. I got mine from the same vender.
you know my first thought anytime i see someone with a nice home host large poker games i think either theyre very lucky to have a large amount of close friends or a little naive/careless about who they invite into their home. personally, if i ever had a doubt about anyone playing fairly (bringing their own chips) they wouldn't know where i live or that i even host poker games.
i know its probably damn near impossible to put a group of 30-40 gamblers together and not have a bad apple but thats why i couldnt use my home for that purpose
I have those Royal chips as a tournament set. They're pretty great! Probably the most I'll ever pay for a set considering they're like 50 cents/chip. The nice clay ones are like $2/chip and I'm not spending $2k on 1,000 chip set.
If the garage gets hot in the summer I wouldn't keep my majestics/royals in there. I have the same chips in a set about half the size, and I like them a lot, but I'd be concerned about the labels peeling off anywhere other than a cool, dark place. I've definitely ruined good acetate cards by storing them improperly too. But you're garage looks pretty fancy, maybe it stays as cool as the rest of the house.

I know it's illegal to rake, but after all these investments and efforts, there has to be something in it for the host. Can you tell me some ways you make money on poker nights? Or some ways someone could make money just by hosting.

1/1 and 1/2 is limit poker. Has nothing to do with blinds.
50/100 is limit poker as well! It’s all relative depending on bank roll.
What are you saying? Those are the blinds. It’s no-limit Texas Holdem with $1/$1 blinds.
@@SethCorbinMusic Yes, we play $1/$1 with a straddle & sometimes we play $1/$2 blinds. $1/$1 is effectively .50/$1 without have quarters on the table.
