A TRULY EPIC battle movie, and VERY WELL done for it time. Rod Steiger perfected the iconic image of L' Empereur Napoleon; though in actuality he was NEVER chubby!
It could be even BETTER done today with CGI multiplying the massiveness of the armies but, there wouldn't be the powerful actors to play Wellington and Bonaparte.
Alexxander did a fantastic job. This video is appropriate to song "Battle of Waterloo". I think we can't find any other film more suitable. The most important is to show plot of the battle during all melody.

Wonderfull the best song composed ever great lyrics . Rock n Rolf is the best songwritter . I can't stop listening to this I feel like I am right there on the plains on those days of fighting . I like history a lot . Hail to the memory of the men who fought that day to remove the tyranny of the french and restore peace in Europe . Thank you .
