    This was an INCREDIBLE game. The legend of Tavon Austin was born this game.

    I was at this game with my dad. My first OU game since we moved to TN in '98. It was incredible, being the only crimson dots in a sea of gold was incredibly satisfying after the game. Boomer Sooner!

    I was at the Fiesta Bowl when your boys drilled us. No WVU fans I met were hostile or obnoxious, just insanely passionate football fans. Here's to a good rivalry.

    Landry gets no respect from Sooner fans and that's a shame. One of the clutchest players that OU's ever had.

      +Jake Shames many of those fans wished he was back the last two years. Except for maybe against Bama, just cause Knight was outta his mind that game.

      Jones was a result of scheme.
      He wasn't good enough to bring us the glass football. He underperformed.

    Stills was huge in this game, not only for his TD catches but for his downfield blocking as well. It's ok to praise Shepard for a spectacular game, but let's not use that praise as a way to badmouth Stills, who is a great contributor to this team.

  • @TOTRedman

    Broyles did the same thing Stills does, when he knew he was about to get tackled he would either hit the deck or continue out of bounds. Why take an unnecessary hit and risk injury.

    Cracks me up texas people thinking they have the program to talk against OU, when OU annually kicks the dog shit out of them, has more Heisman winners, more NC's, CFB's all time win streak, more all americans, more conference titles, and your most legendary coach started out as OUr quarterback. Any texas fan that tries to speak against OU is just.......comedy- always gives a good chuckle lolling-

    Well it is Geno Smith, and I agree with you, we got Tony Jefferson, a hard hitting machine, and Aaron Colvin, a nightmare for QBs.

    Shepard and Stills have a different skill set. Stills doesn't have the elusiveness that Shep does. This was one of the better games by both guys and our wr unit as a whole

  • @hotrodjarod3
    @hotrodjarod3 12 років тому

    I agree that Shepard shows that he can get the tough yards after catch, but this isn't always a good thing. Receivers aren't known to be the strongest on the field and the risk of getting the ball stripped increases when the receiver tries to stretch the plays out. Also, Stills lines up as a wide receiver while Shepard is a slot receiver like Broyles was, two different positions. BTW, why would you want to throw Stills under the bus. He caught 4 TD passes Saturday including the game winning TD.

    OU was equally dreadful on defense that night as well. Tavon Austin was so hard to stop in that one. The better offense won that night, and that offense was OU's. BOOMER SOONER!

    I'll be looking forward to a WVU defense next year that can only be better. In all my years of following Mountaineer football, last season's defense was by far the worst I have ever seen. Very disheartening! Hopefully, with more experience and 2 new defensive coaches, WVU will display what the fans expect. They were dreadful in this game vs. OU. If I had been the OU offensive coordinator, I would have passed on every play. Then, they wouldn't have needed a last second TD.

    8:29 is an absolutely heroic effort by Sterling Shephard. He literally refused to go out of bounds when 9 out of 10 receivers would have been satisfied with the catch alone and trotted out. Kenny Stills has no problem running out every time he catches a pass towards the sideline. Stills should watch some film on how Sterling Shephard never never runs out of bounds. Shephard reminds me of Broyles, just smaller, shiftier and faster wheels.

    Gabe Knudsen also said OU likes to play the other 11 games, well then I guess that explains your failure to show up for the BCS bowls that you've embarrassed the Big XII in. Oh, that's right, you beat UConn. Good job.

    you are essentially an air theif, please stop breathing. Oklahoma beats Texas in EVERY category...except for the head to head matchup, y'all can have that we'll take our 7 national championships, 143 all americans, 44 conference titles, and the third all time winning percentage in college football. What does Texas have? They can beat Oklahoma. Good for you, we like to play the other 11 games of the season unlike you. and if you havent noticed the rivalry has took a turn for the worse for Texas.

    Question for you, since you answered your own question: of your 7 National Championships that you claim, which of them did you beat Texas for? If you must know, since you probably didnt already, is that one of those championships, you lost your bowl game to Kentucky, yet you still claimed a NC. How's that happen? And then, after getting blasted by K-State, OU still got a selection to play LSU for the NC. Media darlings. It's all OU ever was and ever will be.

  • @FlammableDonkey
    @FlammableDonkey 11 років тому

    Why does the color of the quarterback's skin matter? Stop before you say something even more stupid.

  • @longhorn7
    @longhorn7 12 років тому

    K-State could and would beat OU twice in the same season if they played this year. The problem with OU is that they are 9-2 with losses to teams with a decent defense that can stop your non-existent run game and primarily defend the pass and you've only beaten teams that couldn't do either one. It's no secret how OU plans to win, they cant run so they pass for almost 5 times as many yards as they run for. And you wonder why your BCS bowl record is shit? Because you've played true elite teams.

    • @Doomlerious
      @Doomlerious 2 роки тому

      9 years later.... and Oklahoma was back in the same situation. Then Bobby Boi, and Cale Gundy came in and Kennedy Brooks ran for 150+ for 3 TD's. I'm excited to see a potent running attack, no more tossing it 35+ times a game.

  • @longhorn7
    @longhorn7 12 років тому

    Why not? OU football would be nothing without Texas. Hope that didnt sting too bad. Hey, when's the last time you won a National Championship? Over a decade ago? OK, so you've just been overrated for that long. BWAAAAHAAAHAHAHAHAHA *gasps for air* HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
