Great taste man. I had a BK2 and after a year or so I wanted to grab another Becker. The 9 is great if you want a gladius, the BK2 is great if you want to baton your house in half and carry a anchor on your hip. It came down to the 7 and the 10. I decided the 7 was to big too be crafty and handy. I went with the BK10 and I love the thing. Best all-rounder in the lineup.

Thank You for watching! Each knife feels different in the hand to each person. For me the Esee 5 just doesn't have that magic feel like the Becker did. Edge performed better on Becker as well.

@@HollywoodTacticool I really enjoy using the 10, but didn't enjoy the 2 much and got rid of it. Didn't do anything well as the 10, and felt bulky and awkward in my hand. I know others who really like the 2, this is my own opinion. Be sure and upgrade the handles. The Knife Connection handles are awesome!

I'm getting my bk10 in today this review sold me on it finally I've been eyeballing it for the better part of a year and wanted an in between blade for one of my go bags and everything about this really stood out I tried a rat 7 before this and received one with a horrible warped blade and was kinda turned off towards that knife after sending it back so hopefully better luck with the Becker 🤞

I have custom BK 7 and a BK16. I have made green G19 grips. How do you put a grippy type surface on G10? This one is smooth and slippery when dry, sticky when wet. Can I rough it a bit with courser sand paper?
Both good guesses, and I have used both, and the BK7. Since then my absolute favorite Survival knife has become the ESEE JUNGLAS 2. Use it more than any other. You might check out the videos on how I customized it.
i have a few ka-bar knives,, non of the becker series, i'm not a fan of the hollowed out portions of the tang,, i prefer esee, i have the 5, 6 and original junglas

I've been trying to decide on a knife to add to my bag that is smaller than the Steel Eagle. Have been considering bk16, esee 4 and bk10. Also though if tops cochise ranger. In worried about the esee 4 handle size. Anyways, thanks for your time making these videos. If you had any suggestions on what to pair with my steel eavle6, I would greatly appreciate it.
@@AMG-502 There is always that one knife that just seems to be perfect for each person. For me it is the Junglas 2 The Steel Eagle is A great knife. I would recommend the BK16 for an excellent companion for carving, cleaning game, etc.However, the factory handles leave a lit to be desired. The G10 handles from The Knife Connection are excellent! If you want to go all out, put a 90 degree spine on it and a patina. Check out video of mine.
that knife appears to be an all-around package. I dont want bk2 - too fat anda heavy/ A bk7 is bit too much. This bk10 looks like the porridge that was juuust right
Hello Redmond!!! Awesome to hear from a neighbor. The BK10 is much easier to work with. Better carver, faster in the hand makes it better for delimbing. More comfortable to use. Highly reccomended, but switch out the handles.
If weight isn't an issue the tops operator 7 is an absolute TANK of a knife. I don't think you could break that blade even if you tried. Chopping & splitting is just beastly.... Side note: The new CPM-3V (upgraded from 1095) architect field buddy on TKC is on my radar....

Why not carry a good hatchet like a gransfors bruk instead of so many different knives. Hatchet you could limb trees, cut firewood, carve, curls, etc. With my gransfors axes and hatchets theyre so sharp i could prepare food with one too. I mean yes of course carry a knife but a hatchet would do better for most of those tasks imo
I love the Gransfors Bruk hatchet. Have one on the side of my bushcraft pack and use it a lot. My mission was to simply find what I thought would be the best bugout knife, and share my results. Thanks for watching!
