I live in the UP and looking to start a hazelnut orchard 1.5 acres thanks for the information
We live in Park Rapids MN. There are hundreds of hazelnuts bushes that have grown there for at least 65 years. We don’t eat them as a worm has infected the stands.
well 4 years later I'm up to over 200 bushes and they are loaded with nuts need a way to dehusk them
need to find plans on making a husking michiane to husk them have way too many to do it by hand
I have about 120 hazelnuts bushes growing in northern Missouri I would love to make them a cash crop any help would be nice ty

trying to find a way to de husk them and to find buyers for them my bushes are loaded this year
Biofuel it made me laugh :) 1 kg nut cost 6USD, 5 kg to 1 liter oil it is already 30/liter or 100USD a gallon XD
Looking forward to hazelnut/chestnut advancement that doesn't include GMO tech.
