Web3 is going to be HUGE with HBAR leading the charge. What they are rolling out is revolutionary and they are backed up by some big corporate muscle. This is the way...
The code to my knowledge can be accessed freely by anyone, you don't need to pay for the license or let Swirlds/Hedera know anything about what your building and you don't even need to ask permission to use the licence & all the code is open to review by anyone. The reason for the governance is to stop intentional forking and essentially help guide the tech in the right direction.
That's correct. Open source has caused nothing but problems for the market, and without a market a coin has no future. Forks is the enemy of crypto and you can't avoid forks if the project is open source. As long as a coin as value, it can and will most likely be forked and forked and forked.... you get the idea. Every time you fork a coin, the market cap splits off and there is no limit to forking. Hedera's approach solves this problem.
It’s open. Anybody can check it. Just can’t change it. you will never get adoption by a heavily regulated sector such as private health information. EMR’s, medical supply chain. The future is DLT’s and blockchain. If you think regulators would allow EMR’s to be built on an open source network, You don’t know HIPPA The fed can make its own or just buy HBAR.

The guy is a genius...probably cause I don't know half of what he is talking about.
Not interesting before it's open source.
