Super good going ITB. The few downsides are MORE than made up with wicked intake sounds and era-corrrect visuals. Cheers from near Aspen, CO. 🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟
Ideally a slide throttle assembly like the original DFV / BDG’s , Cool , probably very impractical but a nice job for dad , or probably quite easy to find second hand if they are not too worn . . He’d love a milling machine for Xmas anyway 🎅 Alternatively a set of barrel throttle bodies from a duratec . Dad could also make a set of these too. But for your sanity BMW throttle bodies ( as per comments before this one ) and maybe drive by wire actuator to eliminate a long ridiculous throttle cable.
🦟 Have you seen David Neno's Dodge Charger/Magnum (from the Junkyard Dave channel) roof construction? It would be a nice alternative for making the body panels...
Regarding your David Vizard fact, was it tested moving the throttle body to various points in a 3' long intake tube or was it just adding more tube behind the throttle body and increasing the plenum volume?
K24s need at least 48mm ITBs because the heads flow so well and I've seen people using 52mm with just cams. Looks like the Daytona 955i has 46mm, but they're not modular throttle bodies, they have one casting, so you can't just add another in the series like you could with say, Speed Four throttle bodies.
If you like to make this channel more successful, I would guess , more regular videos, not longer than 20 minutes would be helpful. Special videos like what happens with in the last 12 months, would be nice
Why a Honda engine? You could try danstengineering in the UK, I have got the intake custom made by them for my Duratec 2.5. He has a UA-cam channel and online store as well. Also you can try Jenvey throttle bodies. I made my custom system(still building the car) using Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R throttle bodies. Throttle bodies with filters would take up more space.
Love the beauty shoots...🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟

Are you guys part of the shed built cars Facebook group? If not they'd love what you're doing!
4 E36 m3 throttle bodies would look right.
👍or half a bank of a V8 , good call

What about some second hand throttle bodies from a Triumph Daytona 955, stock there would be three but you can add one other.
