Good to see your video after long time. People would love to see your videos more often. I like the technical depth of your content. Keep doing it sir.
Nice video and good advices. I have a Jawa californian 250 and the ignition is very very similar. I just would point out, that points should not make that spark...that's the evidence of the capacitor not correctly working, points are going to ruin. Cheers from Italy
Thank you. True, even the point terminals are not sitting flat on each other (IMPROPERLY WORN OUT). Recently I got hold of the original points & capacitor will do a replacement of those soon, and share. cheers mate. 🍻
Sir you have won me over.. Thank u so much.. I was considering changing my jawa350 to electronic ignition.. i might now keep it… as per your experience what advantages would a point system have over the electronic ignition ?
SETTING THE IGNITION TIMING - FACTORY 1. Remove spark plug, insert gauge indicator thread M14x1.25 2. Find TDC( on the mangneto side crank shaft is a pin instead of keyway), with a marker pen draw a straight line and DOT on the CAM nut to indicate TDC. Rotate the crank shaft clockwise( direction of rotation of the running engine )[RIGHT] 3. At TDC, set the contact breaker points gap(by means of adjusting screw) between 0.3 and 0.4mm using a feeler gauge. 4. Very important - by rotating the crankshaft counter clock wise( Opposite direction of running engine)[ LEFT ] bring the piston down by 2.5 to 4 mm ( this can be recorded on the special gauge screwed on to the spark plug hole.) 5. Check again in this position the contact breaker point gap which should not exceed 0.05 mm, use feeler gauge or a piece of cigarette paper both of which should be sliding fit. 6. Should the gap be smaller or larger, slacken the two bolts securing the STATOR complete to the crank case and restore the correct gap, that is 0.05 mm by rotating the complete STATOR to the LEFT (making the gap larger) or to the RIGHT (making the gap smaller) 7. After setting Re-tighten the stator bolts. Warning: The contact breaker base plate should "never" be slackened or rotated in order to set the contact breaker gap. It's position should never be altered under any circumstances.
I have (rx135 4-speed old model) and it has ( i-1 series block) in it (4TL10 132 cm³) which is 5-speed block so which carburetor should i use, because i have rx-100 carburetor fitted in it. In this case what should i do should i use 4-speed carburetor or 5-speed carburetor? Because my block is( i-1 series 4TL10 132cm³) which is 5-speed one
Great knowledge sharing. I really hope you get more and more subscribers. GOOD LUCK SIR !! Between could you please do a video on RX, how to adjust points ?
Hi, good video, these days difficult to get mechanics with 2 stroke knowledge in tier 2 cites, better to learn ourselfs, tried to set points on my yezdi, everything is good, but during high accleration, firing is breaking, then need to reduce acce, can I get your number?
Bro, please help me, i have 2004 puksar drs model, when wver i wash or during rainy season water goes inside tank and engine doesn't start. I need to clean tank entirly and petrol also waste. Please share video how to resolve it
I dont know if you are still having this problem, however thought i will reply. In your fuel lid there should be a small hold and is used to drain of the water that seeps through the lid. This hole will generally be connected a hose pipe and will be used to drain the collected water. Due to accumulation of rust and debris this small hose whould have chocked. Just clean it and will solve your issue for good!

So nice of you
great video, greetings from Australia I have 1958 jawa 353

My rx135 4-speed performance is very low when it goes above 110 speed it gets off then I have to start it after 30 seconds
Please help me
Is there any difference in connecting rod of rx 135 4 speed & rx 135 5speed and also in crankshaft?
They are same
I have (rx135 4-speed old model) and it has ( i-1 series block) in it (4TL10 132 cm³) which is 5-speed block so which carburetor should i use, because i have rx-100 carburetor fitted in it. Use are 5s carburetor if you can get it. Or else second preference would be a 135 4s carburetor,it also works fine with the 5s block.
Thanks for knowledge we got❤
God give breakthrough
It's my pleasure

Thank you for your kind words and wishes..
Would have definitely done on Rx ,but sadly there's no point(CB ignition) in Rx. It has Got Cdi system.

Can you make video on paco carbeurator cleaning and tuning?
Will try
