Inspired by true events, New Regency’s and Film4’s “Everybody’s Talking about Jamie” is the film adaptation of the hit musical. Jamie New is 16 and doesn’t quite fit in-instead of pursuing a “real” career, he dreams of becoming a drag queen. Uncertain about his future, Jamie knows one thing for sure: he is going to be a sensation. Supported by his loving mom and his amazing friends, Jamie overcomes prejudice, beats the bullies and steps out of the darkness, into the spotlight.
“Everybody’s Talking about Jamie” stars newcomer Max Harwood, Sarah Lancashire, Lauren Patel, Shobna Gulati, Ralph Ineson, Adeel Akhtar, Samuel Bottomley, with Sharon Horgan and Richard E. Grant. The stage production’s director, Jonathan Butterell, makes his feature-film debut as director, with screenplay and lyrics by Tom MacRae, songs by Dan Gillespie Sells and a score composed by Sells and Anne Dudley. Mark Herbert, p.g.a, Peter Carlton, p.g.a, and Arnon Milchan are producing, with Yariv Milchan, Michael Schaefer, Natalie Lehmann, Daniel Battsek, Ollie Madden, Peter Balm, Niall Shamma, and Jes Wilkins serving as executive producers.

Please stop making these shitty movies, that clearly doesn't show the Islamic values of life. Or at least don't try to make fake movies including RELIGION and MORAL both. Yeah the purpose of Jamie's story is positive and that should be featured in media. But, promoting false accusations and beliefs of specific religion is just a lame thing to do. People have brains to search the reality and truth of any religion on internet and historical books nowadays. You have literally co-joined and promoted the disrespectful things in Islam and LGBT equality in this movie and that's not a ONE thing! All the true believers, clearly knows why they follow Allah's path and Islam. The basic thing is, Allah never restricts or impose anything on anyone and Muslims do know that. And if some things are made to be obeyed in Islam, they are actually ordered for our own safety and benefit. 'ISLAM IS AND WAS THE FIRST AND ONLY FREE RELIGION, THAT GAVE EQUALITY TO EVERY CREATION' billions of years ago and till now, indeed it started too on the BASIS OF PROVIDING EQUALITY! and you better had focused that on Jamie's story, in spite of showing lame things on the name of Islam, you don't have a right to do that. Come on men get some some sense, why is Islam the fastest growing religion across the world nowadays. Example, Hindus have different classes based on their religion and Christians don't like to go to church, but does every Hindu or Christian hate that, clearly no, because that's the part of their religion and they respect that! You can't just present a whole religion on the face of an individual. [PEOPLE SEEK LIGHT, SEARCH AND THEN GO FOR A RELIGION], so its a lame thing to target one's religion and present false accusations. Invest in something PRESENTABLE or it will only drown!

Oh shut up. Pritty is shown in a fantastic way. She is a great character. You don’t even know if they put any of that stuff from the show in it...fool. Stop looking for something to complain about. If anything it shows Muslims in a great way.
