@@norjako Soccer is a British term, lets be accurate here. Also Steve Nash is Canadian so I have no idea what this video has to do with Americans. Canadians also call football soccer.
He could have been a really good soccer player if he chose it. Instead he became an incredible basketball player. Rare to see an athlete so adept at two sports so different.
Not really.... soccer is harder to get at the very top.... a bigger pool to pick from, and much more generational talent available all around the world
Not true at all. It's easy to became a football pro...but it's harder to reach the absolute top and the play the first divisions. Every pro club got 1000s and 1000s kids in their schools and most of them give it up or end up in the lowest divisions.
Griezmann doesn’t really like basketball. He’s just trying to be American I guess. I remember him carrying American football with him all the time when Barça played friendlies in the US.
As an European I will never understand why Americans calling Rugby (American Football) simply "football" even its so rare when they use foot to kick the ball. I'm so happy to hear they are calling soccer - football. European football is older sport than American football, why on hell they had to call it football? I believe that is complex because Americans have their history with UK so they had to call it differently, plus football is the most popular sport in the world but in USA it is Rugby (American Football), and real football is not popular at all. I will never understand why.
Lord Gospodin I don’t get it either. I’m from Canada and we still call it soccer. It’s dumb. Also rugby is considered a different sport even though it looks the same to me. They have rugby and also American football which is a different sport and league. Even though they look the same to me it looks like rugby is more physical from what I have seen
@@levarmitchell3962 well it was thought, but it doesn't bother me much at all, I don't care Americans can call it what ever they want, but I will never understand it.
@@r4ndomuser861 yea Rugby is a different sport :) the difference is in the outfit and couple of rules I believe (I really don't know the rules). Anyway my opinion on that matter is that US had to change it because of their history with UK so they don't have something the same as UK, they have tried to separate themselves from the UK. That's my opinion, maybe I'm wrong I can accept that if I am.
beacuse that is the name of the game everywhere except in america. for some reason they gave the name footboll to a game the they use the foot 1 % of the time in the game and itäs only one player that use it. and the kickers are not even good this days. excuse me for my bad writing english is not my language .
