In much of the Western world, it is traditional to wear a wedding ring on the left-hand ring finger. However, in nations around the world, wedding rings are worn on the right ring finger. Eastern Orthodox Christians, like those in Greece, continue the tradition of the Romans in this manner.
You started wearing it about a month ago. Any significance or just decoration?

Ah, I see you are man of culture...! Yeah, I started wearing it because I wanted to start wearing rings again, but it's the only one I have that fits lol I put it on my right hand because most people here in the US would think I'm married when I'm not, but I guess you guys know by now that I'm Orthodox so the left hand would be better haha so yeah just decoration. I plan on getting a ring that holds some special significance soon though

Do you happen to know the name of those medieval russian buttons that are basically metal spheres with filigree or other details on them? If they have a name that is?

@@DemetriosLevi Sorry about the extremely long delay in responding :), I just stumbled across this video and noticed my own comment. This is "robby" channel is an old one I rarely use and alerts were off. But thanks for asking. Well, plastic buttons are the the most hideous of all, but all buttons are yuck. I can't remember posting this comment specifically but I was likely looking for explanation as to why people like buttons. For almost as long as I can remember, I've hated them. I'm now mid 60s. It started as a child. It just suddenly dawned on me like a flash, how embarrassingly ugly all of the other school kids looked wearing their buttoned shirts. I felt repulsed. That was almost 60 years ago.
I avoid buttoned clothing like the plague. They're so embarrassing. I've even suffered panic attacks over them. I void formal situations because I can't wear them. If you're interested, look up koumpounophobia (button phobia). I think buttons are probably one of the worst inventions in Fashion History because they've become so pervasive and it's very difficult to find decent clothing without them. Hope that answers your question?
