Before he became the youngest major label head in history.
Chief Keef started rapping as young as 5 and properly recording when he was just 11. Out the gate he rapped about violence, sex, and the hustle of the Chicago streets unlike most rappers his age. Word of mouth was his initial platform and then he blew up on UA-cam and has since achieved fame and street cred in the viral age in a manner never seen before.
Keith Cozart was born August 15, 1995 in Chicago Illinois and grew up in the Englewood neighborhood. He is estranged from his biological father, his mother had him when he was 16 and he grew up with his grandmother as his legal guardian.
