Desde o início da Eurodance, foram lançados centenas de projetos de apenas um hit, que depois resultaram no sucesso de inúmeros artistas, como caso da diva Alexia.
Alessia Aquelani nasceu em 19/05/1967 na cidade de La Spezia, na Itália e começou sua carreira ainda na década de 1980 lançando alguns discos como Alexia Cooper e Lita Beck. Mas seu grande sucesso iniciou-se na gravadora de Roberto Zanetti, a DWA (Dance World Attack) e seu talento começou a ser notado quando esteve nos backing vocals de Please Don't Go, do Double You em 1992. A partir de então, participou de projetos como DiGiLove, Cybernetica, Due, Galactica e Fourteen 14. Alcançou fama internacional na Eurodance, está presente em diversas canções do período áureo do gênero, sendo muito lembrada nos vocais femininos dos grandes hits do Ice MC.
O projeto Due lançou em 1994 a versão de Under The Same Sun, com Alexia nos vocais, sendo um dos mais importantes hits da dance music dos anos 90.
