I am very fond of cars like this. Growing up as a kid my dad had a few Lincoln Continentals. My favorite one I can remember was a 1972 Mark 4 edition. Man how that car would ride ! Seeing cars like this makes me miss my childhood . Definitely happy times :)
I had one of these exactly like it. It had the factory 8 track player, The moonroof and the headlamps that dimmed automatically. It was 9 years old when I got it, had rust on the fenders and one dented fender. I paid $800 for it.
Lincoln Continental Mark IV is the most beautiful car of all times and even today it’s a definite head turner and the smoothies of the ride is just epic 70 s 👌🏻✅
My dad used to have many MK’s over the years, but my favorite years are the ones with the tiny rear window that slides sideways in the back seat, not to mention the opera window light switch.
The 1973 Mark IV was the first year you could get the power moonroof. I believe it was only available on this Silver Luxury Group optional model. 1973 also introduced the right hand remote controlled mirror option. 5 MPH front bumper also debuted with this car. They did away with the Silver Luxury group after 1975 model year. (This car also has the optional rear bumper guard. Never seen that before!)
I have said this all my life Americans cars are the most beautiful cars on Earth and to me the best quality this Lincoln Mark is flawless I love the silver 😍😍❤️👌
The Party wouldn't let us build anything like that now. Everything has to get high mpg and be a rolling pile of plastic.

I'll be honest, wouldn't that look better with bigger wheels. Not that I'll ever be able to do that to it...but, it looks a little let down on those anaemic tyres. Couldn't we recreate their look with larger modern techniques.

STUNNING!! GORGEOUS REAR END! THE INTERIOR COULD HAVE ONLY OCCURRED IN THE 70S. LOVELY. EXQUISITE!

No, 15" wheels and tires are fine. The forged aluminum wheels introduced in 1975 would be a nice addition though.
