Please, i don't understand how 'in the last month' 'in the last year' are considered unfinished time expression. If i say last, i guess last year is over.
Could you explain it to me?
    thank you so much

Are these also unfinished time expressions: this morning, this summer.....?

I don´t understand. I have seen that movie 6 times last month. Last month is past. The correct should be I saw that movie 6 times last month. Am I right?

Just curious why using "gone" is incorrect, since present perfect is Subj + Have + PP: I've never gone to France!

I saw that movie six times last month. I have seen that movie six times in the last month. What is the difference between this 2 sentences?

Sorry Claudio for the late reply. Still trying to get used to the new UA-cam commenting system.
"Last year" means "last year." "In the last year" means "in the last twelve months."

I've been to France three times - how it becomes present perfect when u have used specific time?

This is not a specific time .It refers to how many times something has happened.
