Dude I just got my first Cr125r I just got rid of my 2008 Rmz450z fuel injected bike and yes it was fast and all but damn the acceleration of this bike is so much more fun, all I have to say is any guys who say 125s are lame, they’re the real lame guys, why not have a 125 and 250 or 500 etc , I have 54 acres of flat farm land and boy when I tell you I’m scared to hold this beast wide open. I can’t even get passed 5th gear. That being said yesterday was my first ride in 3/4 years, yea I’m rusty but as soon as I got er outa first gear, it’s like it never left me!! RIDE RED RIPPAS!!!!🤣👍

Then our other friend bought a crf150f and that thing ripped as well lol. Good times rippin' in the cornfield
Just used this video to show my lady what my 03 sounded like lol, she's a beautiful bike man. Makes me miss mine so much, when I got it it was all stock, kid rode it and laid it down then it sat in a garage till 2015 when I got it, still had paint on the tires. A perfect bike.
Honda made a good bike for this year. Solid build. Full of power. Reliable. Cheap to build and fix. Excellent bike. It rips hard dude. This bike taught me how to ride.

The most fun I have ever had on a dirt bike was on an 01 RM 125. I could keep up with 250 2 strokes and even 450 4 strokes on a straight way. What made the 125 so fun was how light it was.
Gnarly! 125s now make more horsepower than the 1986 CR250R red rocket. Had a 1976 Honda CR125 back in the day and every time I let somebody ride it I would have to walk to where they bogged it down. I would specifically tell them do not go through about 4 gears slow and easy and then grab a handful of throttle, downshift to First and try to blow the motor up! They would never do that. Every damn time they would go easily through a few gears and then grab a handful of throttle without downshifting and getting those RPMs up. I could hear it dying, falling on its face. That 1976 Honda CR125 steered like it was on roller coaster rails meaning it would cut into a corner like nothing else. And one of the best shifting Transmissions ever, and it needed it! Shift shift shift shift! Thanks for riding these two strokes the way they are meant to be ridden, it's still pisses me off to this very day to see somebody pussyfooting around on a ripping two-stroke.
Best year for the cr125 , read all the old articles it is a monster , i have one parked in my office 2003 with less than 5 hours on it looks brand new as well . Completely original untouched

I’ve got the same bike! (Granted defiantly not as nice) but , she’s still kicking strong after 19 years and multiple owners. I bought mine for $1900 bucks and all I’ve done to it was throw a billtron carb on it and a new rear rim and she just figgin rips!!!

Been a long time since I rode my 1978 YZ125 and and 1982 KX250. Had a few 4 strokes since those days. DRZ 400's and a XR 650. I have a soft spot for the 2 stroke 125!! I weigh about 188 lbs. What do you weigh? It seems to move pretty good with you on it!!
Still makes me laugh when folk say '125!!' That's a little bike! They are awesome and if I was to get back in the MX saddle after decades away, I would be happy with a 125 but 250 would be my max. You have an awesome test track right there in your grounds buddy! Cool!
