- Succulents are an unusual group of plants as it is, thanks to their swollen leaves and stems. But some succulents look like they don't belong on this planet.
My small nursery has grown many strange and weird succulents over the years and these are my favourite.

I have the String of Buttons Succulent.....
10:08 what's the name of violet succulent?
xGraptoveria Lilac Spoons aka Topsy Debbie 🙂
Please don't use gollum and hobbit at the same name. Its not. I sure hope you dont call portulacaria afra by mini jade... please tell me you know its not even close to jade and should never be called by a name its not even remotely close to...
IMO, it doesn’t matter with jade. It’s not a botanical name, but simply a nickname people have given to Crassula ovata and many other succulent and even non succulent plants due to the colour. Personally, I don’t call P afra anything but P afra but I wouldn’t say it’s incorrect if someone calls it mini jade because in botany ‘jade’ or ‘mini jade’ doesn’t mean anything. Happy to stand corrected, but they are not registered names. What really matters to me is getting the genus+species (or registered cultivar name) right when possible.
Why so negative 😂 5:16
This is a great video
@@craig3498 Thank you 🙂💚
It’s amazing how much the crested medusa’s head resembles the crested eve’s needle. I wonder if it’s a similar type of mutation? Both plants are from different continents (South Africa and South America) and are not closely related as far as I know.
