Yeah, I agree also. His doing great. I never share videos, but I'll share his. I already subscribed and liked, and even liking avidio is very rare that I do that
When you get a pie at the footy and you take a bite that partly cooks your tongue and blisters the roof of your mouth while oozing molten magma into the palm of your hand- that’s when you’ve had a real pie that you’ll never forget! 🤣
That pie looks absolutely delicious, I'm going go out now and buy one, yum !! I love meat pies, especially when they are boiling hot !!!!!!! The pastry looks so good, now Im hungry !!!!!
Very unhealthy but tastes so good. Meat pie actually goes back many centuries before Australia was even named. Pie floater in Adelaide is more different but i think it still goes back to England anyway
Pro tip: ALWAYS start the sauce with a thin cirlce around the edge (top face circumference).. thats where the most dry zone is, then fill in the middle with the remainder of the squezzey sauce.
I've had that one from the Umina bakery. The one that claims to be the worlds hottest Pie. All the boys in the footy show tried one on back in the day and it basically ruined that show. None of them could talk after it. It's the one that destroyed Matty Johns on radio. I ate it for smoko one day, and then washed it down with a steak and kidney pie and a chocky milk. I know it's only a gimmick (maybe?)but the baker made me sign a health waiver before he would sell it to me. It pastry on top was fluorescent orange. Don't get any on your fingers and scratch your balls
@@allisonbrown1498he spelt it how we pronounce it. We know how to spell. You could also spell out the same pronunciation as Toe-Mar-Toe. We know it’s spelt tomato. But in North America they pronounce it more like To-Ma-Toe. That’s why the saying “tomato, potato” works better there. In Australia it’s said Toe-Mar-Toe, Pah-Tar-Toe, even though well pronounce potato normally every other time, we pronounce it Pah-Tar-Toe just for that saying sarcastically because we all know the way we say tomato is different.
I noticed you have taken a liking to the mystery bags or dogs eye" meat pie " going to be hard going cold Turkey when you go home. The cravings will set before the wheels leave the tarmac.
We dont take it out of the tin foil. Not many people I know do..... We eat it from the tin, bending it back as we go. Some of us use the bag it comes in. That pie looks perfect.
Tomato sauce and ketchup and basically the same thing Ketchup is a little sweeter but that’s it Ps of you ever go to Rockhampton try cranstons pies They are fr the best ever
like an alien to earth.. cant wait until he asks what "rooting in the back of the Ute" ,means as compared to what they think it might mean in canada.. lol..
Ya need to go to a real bakery where they have steak and mushroom, or steak and pepper, lamb.. any actual meat pies. These ones with gravy and mince are everywhere but some OG bakery’s have the goods.
Mince is what U call ground beef. Same diff. Also pies come in a heeeeap of different types/flavours. U can get steak & mushroom, skeak, bacon & cheese, also chicken, chicken curry....plenty of types. Steak pies are a bit different to a plain olde pie. Its made from actual steak. Chunks of it. Not ground up, like mince. A whole other experience, provided U get a good one. For me, the pastry hasta be good tho...makes all the difference.
We have pies, y'all have your chilly dogs, burgers and taco's. They're all "hand held" cooked meat products that you can add different sauces to. Same, same really... We're not that different dude 😂😅
The reason we don’t have ketchup, is because that is the stupidest name for that product. It is a sauce that is made of tomato’s, hence the name tomato sauce. Why is this so hard to comprehend? This fella should be hired by the Australian tourism industry to promote Australia, he's doing a awesome job selling Australia.
Agreed 👍 😅😊😂

That's not a classic snack, that is our national dish
I don’t know why that made me so angry.
Yet NZ still makes better pies 😂😂 so much for a national dish

Either at the footy or while ur trying to drive 😂

That’s a good looking pie!
Yeah that pastry thing doesn't look too bad either
The fact I’ve seen you try multiple pies brings me joy. It’s the only way to find the pie for you mate!
That baker nailed the pastry on that pie
That's a great pie you can tell by the crunch of the pastry
Might be offal inside.
Woah, the confidence of that big bite had me worried 🥵
Yep. Thought he was gonna spit flame
You can tell his not a local but a good guy

I will drive a country mile to get the pie I like best! My favourite is curry mince pie, especially on a cold rainy day. Nothing more satisfying.
Gotta love a nice pie on a cold day.

Aussie meat pies are so good that we even commemorated them on a collectable coin.
You can also lift the pastry lid off the pie and put the tomato sauce directly on the meat and then put the lid back down.
That might be the way to go
oh I thought it was only me doing like that lol. I prefer to put the sauce inside. And it must be BBQ sauce for me. lol.
I hope you've tried the pepper steak. Or any chunky steak pies are my favourite. A good pie doesn't need sauce.
Thats a good looking pie mate, dont forget a pastie or sausage roll they are all like pastry siblings yummo
On your way to Brisbane you have to stop at Yatala pie shop. Same recipe for 40 years. Can't improve on perfection.
My favourite is a curry pie from Bronte, NSW. I had a pie for breakfast yesterday. Yum yum yum
As an Aussie, that is a good-looking pie. Perfect with tomato sauce.
Pepper steak
Curry
Chicken and leek
My 3 favourites
If that was in SA there'd be an ice coffee in the other hand
Meat pies are a British thing it's naturally Australian because we inherited everything originally from the Brits when they established Australia.
Looks good, mate. I’ll have one of those thanks.
Pies are the best 👍
Nom nom nom nom nom nom 🤤 👍🏼
Meat pies have been around for a loooooooong time, ancient times.
Fosters our favourite pies when we up in Goldy

Great.. now im hungry again! 🤣
Beef mince (ground beef or hamburger) and gravy.
We also do chuncky steak and pepper, chicken pies, etc. All are savoury dishes.
Pro tip: ALWAYS start the sauce with a thin cirlce around the edge (top face circumference).. thats where the most dry zone is, then fill in the middle with the remainder of the squezzey sauce.
The lamb and rosemary pie is awesome at fosters
Man, I had one of these demon pies drip lava on my leg and it blistered! Perfect!

Im always sceptical of pies sold in foil. Usually means the base is too soft.
Mate you need to try a sausage roll too. Well done with the pie. It looked good.
Mmmm pie
Them sauces are perfect on the dash getting hot and stinky. Then pow 💥 you can pinstripe at least three pushbike riders with one squeeze 😂

Yes, mince is ground beef… unless it’s a different ground meat but then it should state that it’s (for example) pork mince, etc
Best pie I have ever had was at mountain high pie at Wentworth falls. It’s on the way to blue mountains
To gain citizenship into Australia, you have to eat a hot pie, whilst driving a manual car & make it look easy!
If you can do this, welcome to Oz!
Gave the sauce or charged for it?

Best bakery on the gold coast
Are you in Cairns?.
The sauce we 🇦🇺 call "tomato sauce" has similar ingredients to the sauce North Americans call "tomato ketchup."
To be clear we have, and have always had tomato ketchup here in Australia. In 45 years I've only ever seen 1 brand of ketchup 🫠 Heinz ftw
Bro, turn it upside down splash sauce on it it won't sag while you eat it

It's an English thing, originally it was a way to cook meat the pastry wasn't edible but it's now what you see Here
How come you don’t call it a “meat flesh pie” this time??? You have in the last few videos I’ve been recommended.
try a chiko roll

Guys, this "national dish" was appropriated from England.
And I believe they got the idea from the Germans anyway.
"Australian" it ISN'T
Pies pastys &sausage rolls are referred to as mystery bags no oneknows whats in em
Put sauce on top then flip the top over
Ok…. 1st up… it’s pronounced ‘ twomardo zorse’ and secondly, a good pie is so hot it fuses your tongue to the roof of your mouth…. Enjoy😋
Yep
Half the fun of sauce is getting it all over your face but if you wanna keep clean lift the lid of the pie and pour under it then close it back up.
don't put sauce all on at once, squirt a tiny bit exactly where your next bite will be, that way every bite will have sauce
Spot on
Handheld. Wireless baby
Beef mince IS ground beef. Same thing. :)
Nah but as an Aussie, try a NZ pie. They fucking slap.
Ya better try a sausage roll next 😊
And our stupid government removed the mandatory standard for minimum meat content for meat pies. Bob Carr I believe. Who benefits?
Yum yum get sum
Go to South Australia, they'll inject that Tom sauce under the pastry , less mess, same flavour.😅
Nice flaky pastry good pie. New Zealand pies are way better, though.
