This vid is exactly what I needed as I'm waiting to receive my 5ive-T and I know absolutely nothing about RC cars. I currently have a 1/6 Tiger tank and I am desperate for some proper fun and speed. I was kinda worried about diving straight in to a 1/5 petrol car but this series has really given me some confidence, thank you TFE, please keep them coming!!!
Good stuff,i checked one of these out earlier in the week. Currently i have a baja sc with the castle conversion and watched your videos on that one,you highlight a lot of the little stuff that people might overlook... like that one part in the lipo strap bag.. i was ready to go nuts looking for it. On the fence on this truck but it is really nice out of the box.. looking forward to feedback from people running them on the 26cc stock and those servos.
It basically depends on if u like 2 or 4 wheel drive. The 5sc and losi 5ive are both awesome vehicles. But if u ask me I'd get the losi 5ive instead of the 5sc. Only con I can think of is price. The losi costs more but you get a real well thought out vehicle compared to the 5sc. Everything on the losi is real easy to get at compared to the 5sc and I really like the way the losi's body is in pieces and attached to a well designed roll cage. There are a few more diffs to maintain but that's not a
You might mention tearing apart the shocks to check the screw holding the piston on the shaft. I am getting one and was advised that the screw comes from the factory loose and with no loctite. The shock could be damaged if it is not checked.
There are a few more diffs on the losi to maintain but that's not a big issue. I also really like fact that the body pieces attach to the roll cage so if a piece gets damaged u can just buy that piece to replace the damaged 1 plus u don't half to use the rear fenders if u want the just can with roll cage look that I think looks awesome. Don't get me wrong I luv my bajas and won't part with m cuz I like rear 2 wheel drive for drifting but the losi will drift as well. I'd buy the losi just for th
well if you do go for this beprepard to spend alot money on performance upgrades and a few important hopups which in the end will cost you another £999 and a few extra spare parts like bearing so be prepard if somthingg does go wrong like a wheel bearings
I'd buy the losi cuz I have my dream of owning a baja 5bss/ 5t and want a 4WD 1/5th scale vehicle that comes from a well known company (losi) of quality and well thought out incredable design. Hope that answers your question. Had so much to say that just couldn't fit it all in 1 post,lol!.
when i buy my one i will never take it out to bash for awhile i will be spending lots of money upgrading it before i send it out i want a 30.5cc engine tuned jet pro cyclone pipe and metal hopups and metal swaybar upgrades
well i found a lozi which is cheaper than 999 or 994 or 1000 i found one for 989.99 so now its cheaper to upgrade it with some hopups from mmr large scale full force lozi hopup and a tuned pipe
i love the bajas but i like 4 wheel drive because thay suit of road better hpi bajas are good but imagine if thay made it the same size as the lozi because i think the hpi is a little bit smaller i think it 1.5.5 scale while lozi is a 1.5 scale model

Like the detail but holy overkill, you explain details like how to put on a receiver box lid or how to plug the battery in, makes me laugh lol.i don't think anyone buying this in the hobby is so new it's their first rc and has no clue how to literally do anything. lolol. Was hoping to get some real tips and tricks 👍🏼
a gas engine looks better to mantaine than nitro but petrol is expensive if you are driveing a car but for this fill a 20gallon fuel container for a £25 but when i buy it and me driveing is never gona happon i will buy a pedal bike with a good sive trailer and then pop down the nearest gas staion for unleaded fuel then fined some woods to play in with my beast of a rc car with a 30.5cc engine and tuned pipe
I wish I the patience for fuel RCs but I don't have it. Another reason I won't take the jump to fuel RCs is I really dislike the sound they make. Ugh! I find it annoying. That high pitched whine drives me nuts. But that's just me.
lipo is worse tho might be cleaner till a lipo starts smoking but the cost and the weight aswel and expensive lipos I don't have patience to baby sit and and carefully charge £600 lipos for 5mins of juice how hard is it to mix gas and charge a simple Rx lipo because rx lipos don't require much care ok electric has now got 22hp with 16s but alx engine 78cc is also 22hp so gas and electric is on par but if instant torge and reverse is what your after plus the extra weight gain be my guess
All the features on this monster and he goes on for 7 mins about the battery. even the old cheap Tamiya's of the 80s would stop when they ran past the radio signal.ive built over 20 batteries when I was like 9 its not that important. no way im watching more parts of this.

a gas engine looks better to mantaine than nitro
