Actor and producer Dax Shepard shows us his prized '67 Lincoln Continental--and shows us some of his stunt-driving chops he used in his new movie, "Hit & Run"!
I can't get over how cool that car is, and how unlikely it is that I am saying that about a four door car. Dax Shepard has incredible vision. That is what made the car so cool and the movie so cool. I'm a fan.
This car actually inspired me to do something similar to a 68 t-bird and I got a bunch of people backin me and helpin with the project. Its not done yet but but when it is it will be sweet
My brother has a guy wanting to trade a 66 lincoln for his all to common jeep cherokee. I said do it and my other bro said no go. Wtf. Am i the only one that sees the porential.
LOVED THE MOVIE AND ABSOLUTLY LOVE THAT CAR. I LOVE SPACIOUS CARS BUT ALWAYS WANTED A MUSCLE CAR THAT JUST MAKES ME WANT TO FOLLOW IN DAX'S FOOT STEPS ON THAT CAR.
Dax, if you see this, contact me at anthony(at)anthonysautodetailing(dot)com, I'm across the country, but I would fly out, or take a road trip in my mustang(my 281 is no 514...but still) to make this baby perfect. The car is absolutely beautiful, however I can fix the issues with the paint at :29 on the front-right quarter panel. If I can't do the job I can at least get someone in your area that can do it right.
Dear camera person. Since you’re obviously refusing to use a tripod please do your viewers a solid and add a string stabilizer to your camera. It’s very simple; get a 1/4” bolt to screw into the tripod mount hole on the bottom of your camera and tie a piece of string to it. Tie an old lugnut or a spark plug to the other end, drop it on the ground and step on it. Adjust the length of your string to the height that you hold your camera and while stepping on the end simply keep the string tight. This will stabilize your camera so it doesn’t shake around so much because you’re giving me a headache.
nah must be nice being a car guy that knows what he wants not just dumb lambos that he knows zero about. I don't mind rich people that know about their nice cars.
Drifting is front wheel drive. Power sliding is rear wheel drive. Lose the music! Why do people always have to have music playing in videos they're talking in or have an amazing sounding engine interrupted or muted by fuggin music?! I'm out! Coulda been a really cool video.
Get RID of the music so we can hear the damn car. the engine sound is the music!!

If I remember right, a '62 Continental was turned into a hot rod for "Animal House", the "Eat Me" parade float.
The movie THE CAR was based on a 60's era Continental
This car is soooo sick. Some great driving of this car in the the movie Hit and Run.
Stop the music and stop shaking
Cool car, great movie, and yes drop the music.
This car actually inspired me to do something similar to a 68 t-bird and I got a bunch of people backin me and helpin with the project. Its not done yet but but when it is it will be sweet

For the love of gasoline and all things round and rubber TURN OFF THE BLOODY MUSIC.
Awesome car guy. I almost bought a 67 and needed the car to be a running car to get it home and it wasn't so I passed.

lol, you know this video was shot over 5 years ago right?
john doe it’s never too late to improve upon oneself. Just get the damned string.
Love the car, but not too sure about the rims...
I take it it's not a manual then?
was this filmed on a potato? What a waste of a good chance to document a beautiful car.
Why in the fucking hell would you put music in the same sequence as the car driving?!
lol forgot to fix that headlight
Thats fuckin sinistah!!!!
Must be nice being rich
